from time to time i'm thinking on selling flstudio, but:
- it can be used to generate video with zgameeditor
- its Patcher is cool
- for checking bugs of plugins it's good to have a second daw
- now with euclidean rhythm generator on tracks
- plus the whole thing can be used as a plugin in other host
So at this point i rather keep it, but not using it as a daw

I don't recall if/what I voted in the poll, but yeah, I would sell it if I could. Actually, I'd just give it away if I could. Not that it's a bad DAW (it's definitely NOT!), it's just that it never really fit my workflow and I have too many DAWs now anyway. OTOH, I got it cheap and have the lifetime updates, so maybe one of these days it will click with me???

I moved to Ableton from FL many years ago. My FL license is just collecting cyber dust. I would LOVE to sell my license as it is of no use to me and I could really use the money and give a decent discount to someone who would actually make use of it. Wish I could sell my Xfer Serum and Cthulhu as well for that matter....
So yes, I would sell it in a heartbeat.

No way I would. Every new version adds tons of new stuff and improvements. And these are free for life then unlike with other DAWs which often charge even for damn x.5 bugfix updates...

I would sell, but if they brought in decent audio editing (eg crossfades like in reaper) I would not. I think FL is an excellent DAW, but I need better audio editing with the midi

If one owns something, and if that something is of value to someone else, it can be sold at an agreed price. However, if one does not own that something than it cannot be sold as it is not a possession. One does not therefore actually own FL Studio but only leases it's use.
Have A Great Day!!!

This is not completely correct ... of course you don´t own the software but you own a license of this software...kivajiva wrote: Sun Mar 15, 2020 9:39 pm If one owns something, and if that something is of value to someone else, it can be sold at an agreed price. IL doesn´t deny this... IL´s argumentation is that with their copy protection scheme they cannot make sure that after selling you are not continuing using the software ...
but nevertheless it´s a big grey zone where many claim this would violate actual european law...

Too late to vote, but my vote would have been "No".
I bought FL Studio partly to have yet another host for beta testing plug-ins, and partly to support some developers, and a company, that I like. I realize my few bucks are a drop in the bucket. All the same, a bucketful is made of drops, so.
