I haven't bought any hardware this year at all due to an issue with my pay at work. However this has now been resolved and I'm expecting 8 months of back-pay imminently I already have my Thomann shopping basket ready, just waiting for the money. So with any luck at the end of August the studio should be 99% where I want it.

Part of aforementioned Thomann purchase (may) include some Eurorack. It's in the basket, it just depends how much of a tightarse I am when crunch-time comes.

Yup... for years I lusted after eurorack but kept making excuses....
Had I ventured back then, I would not have had all those hangovers... and my nose would not have collapsed...

OK, It's not really collapsed, I wrinsed/ flushed it regularly during a session
I would have a wall full of kit and know how to use it.
Best decision I have made in years was to get into this year... loving it, revitalised my creativity... can work completely sans PC

i use the hello kitty DAW; all the plugins sound like kittens (analog kittens); it's the 'extra cuteness' button, tho, that makes this a perfect setup.

currently doing remixes for doja cat & cat power

Each time I read the suggestion that Dune 1 is intact in Dune 2 I cringe because its a small reminder of disappointment.

It took me five seconds to discover the multimode filters in d1 were dropped in dune 2, which was the heart of d1 in my opinion.

If you didn't noticed they were dropped, or there 'legacy' counterparts laughable, how dare you say most of dune 1 is intact in dune 2 when its most important parts, to me, weren't carried over.

Dune 3 smoothly replaced Dune 2, no question. If Dune 2 replaced Dune 1 without question for you, okay!

I guess there was no reason Richard needed to keep Dune 1 around for 5+ years after Dune 2 came out, whereas the same wasn't true for dune 2. And don't tell me it was for preset compatibility. There were like a dozen released

D1 and D2 are not backwards compatible, D3 loads D2 presets, so that equation is quite obvious

When D2 came out (in beta testing) i managed to convert a load of sounds from D1 perfectly, no probs at all. Maybe you just dont know synths well enough to do that.

Either way, i only use D3 as its far superior to D1 in both sound and options.
