Well... I guess I don't need those plugins at the moment anyway.
What was the moment when you decided to switch from hobbyst producer/musician to hobbyst DAW & Plugin hoarder??

So the question remains...
Are subscription models the cure for plugin hoarding?

It's not the quality of audio, it's the quality of production that matters.

I'm sorry to tell you this. There is no cure, you can only manage it.burnt circuit wrote: Fri Feb 28, 2020 5:08 pm So the question remains...

It's hard to continue to put a lot of effort into music making, if you don't get the response from an audience that makes it feel worthwile.
I used to be deep into drum&bass scene when it was quite huge in my country - there were venues, lot of interest from people all around, parties to attend and dj on, etc. When that faded away (almost overnight...), well... it's not much fun to make music to collect it in the drawer. Like @anttimaatteri said - if no one cares, there are oher things you can spend your time on. And with age, that free time is too valuable to waste it on something that doesn't give anything back.
But i'm still making some stuff from time to time - I moved to Reason, to keep my production environment contained though
