Stone Voices – Ambient Reverb 6.8

Hello Vasyan

I have a problem with Ambient Reverb. When loading a song in Reaper where AR is used it loads like this:



Not always but often. Reaper mutes the output automatically, but it's annoying. Only way to fix it is manually remove the plugin and load it manually again.

Any ideas?

I'm on Windows Pro 10 64
Reaper 6.75

Greetings! Licenses for older versions are not suitable for new ones.
And another very important point, since these damn US policies with their sanctions against Russia have prohibited the withdrawal of funds from PayPal for Russians, for several years now I have not received a single cent from the fact that you buy my ambient reverb. I did not close the project and delete the downloads in the hope that the situation would change soon.

I am out of politics and do not get involved in the dirty games of neo-feudalistic disputes over the redivision of the world. I live far away in Siberia, 5,000 kilometers from military operations, and everything is calm here. Near the Sayans and around the taiga, musicians and artists live in the village, there are about 20 of us.

That's good to hear..my worry was you might have been conscripted into military service and made fight.

It's hard to know for sure just what is going on, as both sides have been telling lies and misleading people. But I suspect you're right about the reasons behind all of this.

The latest Ambient Reverb update is available
version 6.9

What has been done:

1. The VST3 SDK has been updated to version 3.7.10.
2. A selection of presets in the DAW in the VST3 version has become available.
3. Improved pre-delay, which does not click when the delay time changes.

I am glad that you appreciate my work on developing reverbs.
I use them in my own music projects. I live far from cities, in a very sparsely populated village at the foot of the Sayan Mountains, and therefore I like not only to walk in nature, but also to listen to the environment, the sounds of the forest, the sounds of the mountains and stones.
This helps not only to study the nature of natural reverberation, but also to implement it algorithmically.

I've been thinking about this, but I don't know what kind of hardware should be used for this. Can you recommend anything? Sometimes it's difficult to record an improvisation until you get it ready, plug in all the cords, turn on all devices, and you can lose the improvisation theme.

As for my humble Budget, I have the entry level Tascam DR-05, which still offers up to 24 Bit/96 kHz quality, line in and ext. mic in. The budget Zoom ones should also work fine. A Tripod is a good and cheap investment too, as you can then leave it somewhere to record without human interaction (noise) and such. Adding external Mics can get expensive I guess as you need high quality stereo pairs, yet the built in Mics can also achieve good recordings for sure.
