Both SPL Transient Shaper Plus and Neutron 3's Transient Shaper are amazing for drums!

Transient master is superb on the drum bus, if somebody says dont do something, your next stop should be doing that very thing, of course transient design works on drum buses and has been used on such for years.
Transgressor is nice on individual tracks, terrible on buses.

I recently start using Softube's transient designer. Not as flexible as Neutron3, but its okay.

For me Voxengo TransGainer (ease of use combined with versatility) and MTRansientMB when multi-band needed. However, also Dominion is still a good after all these years.

Another vote for Kilohearts Transient Shaper here, or if you want something for nothing Sleepy-Time DSP Transient is pretty good.

I used to use one a while ago which was excellent but the dev was an absolute dick to me in an email exchange when I needed his help with a faulty product, so I never recommend it.

After that, my fave is NI Transient Master.

Out of interest, what plug-in format do you have this in? I got this yesterday and Waves Central has installed it as AU and VST3 but not VST2 although that format is referenced in documentation. Also the plug-in components are not located in the usual place. I find it all a bit odd!

I assume VST3 , as my waves plugins are all VST3 I think.
