Somebody a bit back said LiquidSonics has had 40% off during Black Friday, but I'm not sure if they would include this newly updated plugin.
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

I updated to version 3.1.0 but.. The Dispersion knob is missing in the GUI when I select the Envelope Tab.

Anyone having this issue ?

I emailed their support about this. I'm on Windows 10, Studio One Pro 5.1 , Installed the VST3 version. of 3.1.0

Seems to me the installers are not updated - still says 3.0.1 on their downloads page

It's part of the envelope curve shaping sub menu.

OK.. This was tricky, but it's not a bug, you just have to click on the small envelope icon to have the Dispersion knob show up.

What do you guys think about that Dispersion feature? Personally, wow I really can't hear what it does! Is it supposed to be ultra subtle? I don't understand sonically what it does or can't hear the difference. I'm deaf or something?

Read the blog post on it. https://www.liquidsonics.com/2020/11/06 ... rberate-3/

You need a snappy IR with no discernible attack. A/B it using the two reverb engines.

It adds a sort of shining, polished and dense metallic halo to the upper end: the higher frequencies build up immediately and with a high density, while the lower frequencies come out a bit later. It is most prominent with plate settings or chamber settings. Not extremely evident, but I can hear it (though I'm not particularly fond of it).

Ok I see. Still having a hard time hearing it so I guess this is not a feature for me :hihi:
