I talked to the dev today, demo seems unlikely any time soon but they promise 30 day money back.Whywhy wrote: Sun Nov 08, 2020 7:22 pm It sounds really nice, I hope they will release a demo version.
Navira (Virus, JP8k hyper/supersaw emulation) ?

Maybe you can ask him why they do not make it more public, e.g. at KvR, Gearslutz etc. It seems that they have a good product, but nobody knows about it...recursive one wrote: Sun Nov 08, 2020 7:36 pmI talked to the dev today, demo seems unlikely any time soon but they promise 30 day money back.Whywhy wrote: Sun Nov 08, 2020 7:22 pm It sounds really nice, I hope they will release a demo version.
Crazy time! Most developers in forums like KvR promote their plugins even though they are not yet released and other developers have a (probably) finished product and you have never heard of them

For your safety, I would recommend not "linking" to trackers or other sites spreading cracked software. You'll never know how the reaction will be amongst the mods.recursive one wrote: Sun Nov 08, 2020 6:00 pmI do![]()
Actually I know many other people from our local forums who only use legit music software (at least they say so)
Russia used to be a warez paradise with sites like xxxxxx but this seems to be a thing of the past mostly.

Good point, not that I actually wanted to promote warez sites (not even sure if that site still works), but I edited my post anywaystarflakeprj wrote: Sun Nov 08, 2020 8:14 pm For your safety, I would recommend not "linking" to trackers or other sites spreading cracked software. Somehow KVR knows about the synth anyway4damind wrote: Sun Nov 08, 2020 8:07 pm Maybe you can ask him why they do not make it more public, e.g. at KvR, Gearslutz etc. It seems that they have a good product, but nobody knows about it...

If I have the chance I'll ask them if they plan some promotion campaign or something.

It's 2020, I don't think saying "it sounds good" for 189 USD is good enough anymore. IMO.

I'm more impressed having now watched a bunch of their videos. I think if the website provided more info about the company/developer, licence terms (inc. transfer policy), privacy policy, and a more realistic price, they could potentially shift a lot of units.

but viper is is a bugfest.recursive one wrote: Sat Nov 07, 2020 6:11 pm 189 USD is quite steep for just a hypersaw machine. Viper emulates almost the whole Virus and is about half the price.
Sounds really nice in the videos though.
Anyways, I'm happy to see Virus and JP 8000 finally getting more love from plugin makers.
Can't seem to find a demo download.

Since the latest update I've not experienced a single issue with Viper. Personally I'd easily take Viper over this. Better price, it has a demo, and a better UI in my opinion.

agree, and it's a much more capable synth.Vortifex wrote: Tue Nov 10, 2020 11:27 pm Since the latest update I've not experienced a single issue with Viper. Personally I'd easily take Viper over this. Better price, it has a demo, and a better UI in my opinion.

It's hard to say which of them is more capable since Navira has some hidden functions which aren't talked about much in ther videos and there is no demo.
Still, Viper has a proper demo, reasonable price, a reponsive developer who is well know for his other plugins and soundsets. Also Viper emulates a lot of other functions of Virus beyond the hypersaw (that hypersaw had been cloned multiple times so it's not unique to the Virus anymore).
So as it stands now, it seems that for a software Virus Viper is much better option than this in every respect.

Where can we find the change logs of the updates to your synths?

If someone is still interetsed, here's a video showing various trance-related presets (I have to link to vk.com again because I didn't find it elsewhere)
Defo it can do a lot more than a hypersaw.

That's a 3-rd party bank, not the factory presets

You can find it in the demo version zip file called "Version history.txt", or just look at all the news features on KVR on Vipers page.Dark Fiber wrote: Wed Nov 11, 2020 12:43 pm Where can we find the change logs of the updates to your synths?
