but please don't sell the Wurli. I've been longing for a pure physical model for years.

I've always preferred it to Rhodes, myself. it's that charismatic Wurli bark that gets me every time.
Yep, the B77 was quite hifi, cleaner than you would expect from such old hardware. It was super cool though, don't get me wrong.

I have no intention of selling the Wurly, they have become quite expensive and also hard to find, at least in Europe.
Once I settle in a new place, probably next year, I'll try to get a Rhodes too. So yeah, physically modeled electric pianos are on the radar for sure.

I was thinking it was something exotic with your suggestion that it wasn't simply modulating gain - but I see that the spice is in the relationship between the two processing stages. Still, whilst trying to work out what you initially meant, the idea of modulating a crossfade between two waveshapers (in the sense of: one waveshaper, two tables) came to mind and now I'm wondering how bad that might sound.
It depends on how you set up the waveshaper stage. In this case, yes, it's quite simple, once you find the right curve.
If you want to experiment with that, we have Wave Box that's perfect for exotic tremolos as well. You can modulate and crossfade between two curves (not tables). It may sound bad, or you may find a sweet spot, it's very trial and error and dependent on the source material too.

Thank you! Working with him it's super fun and we already have a lot of new ideas that we are discussing. We share the same passion for unusual instruments and effects, so working together is very natural.

you could do a lot worse than more radiophonic workshop stuff too :tu:

they had many purpose built circuits to have a look at maybe?
(not saying it's easy, btw, just an idea 8) )

i do think you need to do something about your pricing too.
i feel guilty using these for this price

ho ho ho, Wurli and Rhodes, physical models, where do I sign up?

bold bold! I feel I better start saving up some cash.

myself I wouldn't mind more rotor goodies. kind of like a cross between Things Motor and Speakers, but different.

extensive motory rotory goodness. a few separate independent rotors, separate detailed controls for each, separate speeds for each, various microphones, various miking angles, various mic distances from the rotors. in devices like these it makes a critical impact.

this concept can definitely be developed further. kind of like Klevgrand Spinn in its initial idea, but done better and sounding better.

Love this plugin! I have been running it on subtle settings over a Wavestation to give it a little movement.

Ah, the never-ending debate. It's either too cheap or too expensive :D

They are perfectly priced. Enough that you have to think about it and value it when you do decide to purchase and not too expensive to look elsewhere for something with a deeper feature set. Keep them coming. I own a licence to just about everything you sell.

it was supposed to be a compliment

and cmon, i could buy a couple of beers and a bag of crisps for what i paid, surely they at least deserve a bag of crisps each?

except for the dear Hainbach, I'd like to see a collab with Luca Capozzi.

just imagine. two Italian top developers. Audiority and Audiothing present you... Things Rotor: King Ghidorah! :hyper:

in fact, if you guess the connection between King Ghidorah and one particular rotor gear, you'll get a cookie. bold hint (I really shouldn't give away this much): both are Japanese and three-headed.

Ahah don't get me wrong, I get it, of course, intro €/$ 9 is definitely on the cheap side. But it's good to have different tiers for different types of plugins.

Luca is one of my best friends! We chat about plugins, dsp, c++, among other things, almost every day. Perhaps one day we'll do something together. I highly recommend his products! https://www.audiority.com/

wow OK, if you even know each other, then it's a match made in heavens!

it's so uplifting to see you praise your friend so proudly. he indeed is one clever head. his Echorec and Tube Modulator are also very vibey and great sounding. I need to finally wrap my head around pedals and Echoplex, I've been gassing for too long now, if you scuse my French!

I'm loving the auditority poly comp. It's spectacular for drum busses. It turns out it's also amazing to insert after motor when you are using "less predictable" inputs.
Don't F**K with Mr. Zero.
