Any ideas anyone?
I assume by amount you mean FX Dist Dry/Wet? Attach the patch here and I'll have a look at it. :)

Tried it, doesn't work.

I tried the drive knob and it doesn't work. I checked the envelope on the cutoff and that does work but for drive in distortion fx it does nothing

Post

LFO modulating Drive DOES work, though.

As does using an MSEG which is probably a better choice than Filter Envelope anyway.

Filter Env to Filter Effects Amount works though. Maybe better to add distortion at that point.

That's cool, I will use an MSEG, I just wanted the Distortion amount to increase as the Filter or Amp env does.

Thanks for checking.

Yes, that is exactly how I would want to do it - with the filter env. It looks like a bug. Please report it. :tu:

Filter Env doesn't appear to work on any FX Dry/Wet amount so it's possibly intended behavior rather than a bug but we'll see what Synapse says on the subject.

I guess, but if it's a mod source it should work.

Thanks for the tips on the browser, got it all figured out now!

Yes it should unless there is a technical reason it can't. I've reported it so let's see what the response will be.

The fact that no one else has discovered this in the three years since DUNE 3 has been out or possibly going back all the way to DUNE 2 tells me it's not a very logical connection.

It's not a connection I would ever make preferring instead to use an MSEG. But again let's see what Synapse has to say.....

Patch arrows don't move to next/previous folders.

Post

No they cycle through the current chosen folder both forwards and backwards.

Yes exactly, I personally think they should go on to the next folder, but that's a tiny workflow preference and nothing important. Just means you don't have to keep going back to select another folder each time.

It seems Dune 3.5 update can (could!) wipe users presets folders and sound banks. Please warn people about this before they update to backup their sound banks and presets.

Edit, I am not saying it will, but it did to a customer of mine, and maybe others.

Just a heads-up, not trying to discourage updating. :tu:
