Apple toasters are only compatible with wholemeal bread, which Steve Jobs thinks is better for you
Try to load a slice of white and you'll be out of luck

I CHECKED THIS OUT YOU OWE ME!!!!!!
The only thing holding up the acquisition now is the email tracking system that AOL and Intel are beta testing. Once Bill Gates sends out the checks for each person that the email was forwarded to, many of them Apple employees, then Apple will have the finances necessary to make the purchase.
My friend is a lawyer, she knows the law, and if she says it's true, it's got to be true.
Come on...X-Box programmers, helping SONY (a competitor with Playstation), develop a product to sell it to Apple (another competitor PC vs Mac)
I have a bridge for sale. I need the money to replace my kidney that was stolen. If anyone is interested, please send a post card to Timmy the boy dying from cancer. But remember on the way to the post office don't fuel your car up because they're putting syringes filled with aids in the gas pump handles.

they've promised the next model will support white loafs but you need to buy the iToaster extension kit, suggested retail price from only $599 (special iToaster Extension Cable not included, that's an extra $250)headquest wrote:You must be joking!spaceman wrote: they make great toasters though![]()

Anyone who has used Vegas 5 and Acid 4 will immediately see they share a lot of code. I can't imagine how Sony would sell off Acid and keep Vegas.headquest wrote:This sounds like a wind-up to me... it just doesn't add up for several reasons.
...
They have also put a lot of money and development into Vegas - squarely aimed as a rival to apple products - and have done an update to Sound Forge.
Carb.

Cripes, people can't take a joke!!!
A few folks emailed me privately if it was a joke and I said it was.
This is WAAAAAAAAAAAAY out there in the crazy field.
Sony buying up iTunes??? It ain't going to happen.
And why would Apple sell what was their savior in the publics eye for another piece of music software.
It just goes to show you that if you throw together 5 or 6 crazy rumors in a thread that is already not making any sense, someone is going to take it seriously
Acid is safe...its good software for the PC. I wish there was something remotely like it on the Mac -- and Garageband ain't it. Proband -- whatever it is (and this was in a forum responding to an individual that was convinced Logic was getting its name and focus change to being like Acid) -- probably won't be anywhere near Apple quality either.
Cripes...throw out a crazy rumor that anyone with half a brain in their head would know is untrue and you get someone believing it.
BTW -- did you hear that Apple has slowly been picking up Microsoft stock? Apple now has 8 billion in liquid assets from a few recent sales of properties in the bay area. Its estimated that within 4 years, they will be the biggest investors in M$ just before BillG.
I'm wondering if any wackjobs are going to believe that too.
