People are mentioning it as a joke, as he has said he makes the best software in the world, and often describes how other companies are doing something wrong, and how he has now done it correctly (what ever "it" is in context). Most recently Hydra, which was described at length as the result of years and years of study, achieving something other companies have failed at, being able to recreate the "In the Air" doubling effect, using revolutionary stereo widening, annnnd so on - and it turned out it was actually "widening" the stereo image by flipping the polarity of the wet component of the signal in one channel, making the effect (i.e. including the actual doubling which was the main point of the effect) completely mono incompatible.
