Played a bit with it. CPU consumptions seems to be much lower. With some patches from Pigments 3 Ableton's CPU meter was getting up to 100% of the utilisation for me. Now it's under 30%. But I can't guarantee I played the same patches again.
Thanks Arturia!

Turns out to be a good investment.

OK, I'm assuming this is a typo for "UI improvements". Or is "UX" some feature I've either forgotten about or overlooked?SLiC wrote: Tue Dec 13, 2022 6:37 pm New features - GUI and workflow:

I agree about the new white skin. So I poked around and found some of the graphics files and gave an attempt to do a skin edit in between the dark and light. At least the knobs seem to pop a bit more.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Tue Dec 13, 2022 4:37 pm The light theme is too low contrast IMO. The knobs should've remained dark and they should've used darker text. Also, the top header remains dark, which just looks awkward. Maybe they'll improve that in the future.
It needs a lot more work but you get the picture. If you've got some time see if you can come with something. On Windows the files are located at:

Very nice update. The modulation controls have been nudged in line with Phase Plant, Vital and Rapid... the good ideas percolate through the market.
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.

Thank you Arturia for the free update
I had an error loading Analog Lab in Ableton Live, some version number error, and it told me to reinstall. The problem is downloading Analog Lab from Arturia Centre software takes forever! So, I downloaded it from my account with no problem (with the new three purchased sound packs that was discounted).

Being able to adjust the modulations directly at the destination parameter with the new overlay is a big improvement. It was something which bugged me in version 3, that I alwas have to open up the modulation lane to adjust the modulation amount.

Nope! I will wait one hour or two then I try reinstalling it from Arturia Software Centre and see.
Edit:
Yes I solved it! It was my fault that I haven't moved the dll file to the specific folder of Arturia that I created for their plugins! So, I ended up with this error. It disappeared when I moved the dll file inside Arturia's folder together with other plugins.

I don't know from Rapid but so much of todays's music software have 'borrowed' from U-He
first thing I notice is the now very prevalent Backward/Forward UNDO arrows we see in all the best plugins now was something IIRC first seen in U-He. Comprehensive Preset handling and management, too… Especially innovative is the various dynamic/menu modulations we see now in Bitwig and so many synths which first made early appearances in U-He products *years ago* (see Berlin Modular 'ACE and Bazille and the Zebra family to HIVE2) dragging Hive's modulators, dynamic menus and modules …virtual cables and stacking pieces Zebra style that only waste screen space when necessary; most of this functionality's already been built in and/or is being added and enhanced across the excellent U-HE FX line, too (go Ubhik!)
It's not just the modulators and GUI milestones — this hybrid 'HYBRID' analog (additive/subrtractive) /wavetable/sampler SWISS ARMY combination we enjoy in PIGMENTS is also more and more familiar because of the popularity of this blend making it available in not just VITAL and Phaseplant but now in 2022 some of our best stock DAW instruments can cover the same territory, too (eg Bitwig's Polychrome<-> PolyGrid)
