Roland cloud is bottom up.

Probably should be same as piano roll for when you export a pattern to midi. I mean to be visually similar.

I'm giving you guys an F- (or E- if you're in the UK) for not having reported and resolved that earlier. :dog:
lol
First of all that it wasn't resolved doesn't mean it wasn't reported....
but no I didnt report it. Firstly i rarely use internal sequencers (the exception being Machine), and since I usually program kick and snare first in almost all my drum patterns, this might have made more sense. .maybe...
and yes I saw your wink :).

Bass drum at the top is the NI Maschine way of doing this too.
Maybe that's the inspiration.
Ahh that explains why I never noticed it, because I spend more time in Maschine more than any other drum machine...

btw it does export properly....

I will upgrade for sure. I always loved D16 Phoscyon Drumazon and Nepheton

Maybe a beta tester can suggest a sort button to alternate between bass drum on top working down, to bass drum on bottom working up! ;) It would just be a display thing.

It really does bug me as I started out programming drums in standard notation then PRV's. So the reverse sort breaks my brain a little.

Just because NI did it backwards for Maschine doesn't mean everyone needs to follow suit. If NI jumped off a bridge and went subscription only, does that mean D16 should follow? Exactly!

Well, it's nice for the things I do not find annoying (and it's ok since we are different people) - like:
- preset sharing between users, sessions, or projects - which is not related to a DAW
- nice for not needing to move midi clips between the sessions
- different grooves saved with presets
- specific tweaks with inbuilt sequencers like random notes which actually are not that random with Drumazon 1 (random is not something all DAWs have or do the same way anyway)

I love their internal sequencer and it just makes working with the unit more native so to speak.

For some reason, I couldn't care less if BD is at the top or at the bottom. I use many different software (or hardware) machines and some have BD at the top, some at the bottom. The point is there's no standard or if there were (GM) it was broken a long time ago.

One can probably trigger Drumazon 2 with your DAW piano roll and map instruments in the order you like.

I would much prefer they focus on sound-shaping perfection but I guess moving BD to the top or to the bottom would please some people as well.

i personally never use an inbuilt sequencer

I grab another set of popcorn while hitting refresh on www.d16.pl and pretending I will be the first one to notice they published it a few hours earlier before 9,09...

Just a few extra litters of coffee and I will be fine...

:hihi:  :o :D

Is the realease date 9.09 for real or just a joke here at kvr? I don't find anything official from d16 about it. Would love to download the demo directly at 0:00 ;-)

I am especially curious about improvements in raw sound compared to v1.

Don't hold your breath. It is a fantasy of mine, just a speculation obtained from good fellows at KVR. I was just joking and expressing my excitement.

It would be cool but I don't think it's the case so don't be super disappointed.

If someone from D16 or BETA people actually confirms it, then we can start making barbecue for the weekend but until then it's just a speculation.

Not sure why I wouldn’t pay for the v2 upgrade on Drumazon in the mean time.
Revolution v2? Any infos on that? Never heard about it. That said, based on WA imho annoying copy protection with their vst plugins I doubt I would consider to update to a vst stand-alone version. Would prefer that it stays in Kontakt.

It's the best release date for that plugin ;) The hope is real.

And the product must almost be ready as they released that video with some presets.
