He played a recording of mine on his show a few years ago and opened many doors.

He represented for me the true spirit of rock n roll - playing from the heart, not from politics or trends.

Just saw this on a demonstration TV displaying teletext in Tesco. Major, major loss. Nobody got unheard and obscure music out there like Peely did (man, it feels really weird saying "did"

).
