yes, the Airwave... i curious: will it give something extra or is it a ginmick. i believe it can be an addition, that's why i bought the bundle, with early early bird discount...

we will see how both deliver....
Airwave tracks individual finger joints in relation to the keys, and support confirmed that they're planning to eventually integrate that with MPE, though they haven't provided a timeframe. It could allow them to add MPE Slide and across-key Glide to Roli Piano, as well as Glide over the keyboard for the Seaboard (so you could glide very smoothly across multiple keywaves without using the flat area at bottom or top, and also have one hand glide over the other) and possibly continuous Lift/inverse pressure, among other possibilities.
indeed that was already clear the finger joints are tracked in a more precise way, than the gesture now possible (this is of course the creator side, the play? side; it can say things about you posture and how place your hands and fingers.... so it is quite versitale)...

i suspected, and others of course also, that more is possible....

thank you for the information, that you had contact with support that it will integrate with MPE...

which makes it more attractive of course, but also, in the meantime, global gestures, to call them that, can help my addiction to MPE.... MPE can do a lot, everything i want, but i think there are also global domains to be discovered (well before i had MPE i did that....)...

but back to Airwave and MPE, integration... again, thanks for asking this and share this....
feels like my gutfeeling pays of... but of course it must be implemented... but since the launce of Airwave, you slowly, but steady advance in implementation...

I finally got around to unboxing my second Lumi Keys and using it to give me a full four octave keyboard and it works a treat. It doesn't matter which one goes on which side or which one I plug into my PC, it just works like it's a single unit. Change the octave on either and it changes both. It's seamless and brilliant! My next chore will be to hook up a Lightpad and one of my Blocks and see how much extra functionality I get from that set-up. I should be able to set the Lightpad up to give me a pitch-bend slider and at least two mod-wheel type sliders, maybe three, but I'll have to work on it.

Even better, they fit perfectly into the Pelican case I bought for my now junked Seaboard Block, one atop the other with a layer of foam in between. It's like the case was tailor-made for this purpose and it keeps my set-up ultra-portable. For an ultraportable set-up, I could swap one Lumi out for my computer and a Lightpad or two, which is all I really need to do a live set.
