I was once featured on the front page of the sports section in a Durango Colorado newspaper. Back in my cross country running days, in HS (back in 83)

And I was always jealous I didn't have a cool name like... Vin Diesel... or R.A. Salvatore
Well I sure hope I will be famous on just my name alone regardless of whatever I will output
Oh and on the actual topic, I view Deadbeat (Scott Monteith) and Ochre (Chris Leary) as the most noted players hanging around here. At least noted in the field of music I'm following actively. Specially Deadbeat, he's made some sublime and well acclaimed experimental dub/techno. Oh, and I remember reading a few posts by this one guy who had scored some legendary videogames like umm Turricane I think.
Apart from them, I'm pretty sure there are quite a few well-known musicians reading these forums, but rarely posting...

But that is your ACTUAL name, or just a 'handle' you came up with for here? To me it just rolls off the tongue like Trent Reznor or Paris Hilton (she rolls off ANYTHING!
). I for one think it's a classy name you got.
And yes, I think we're being watched by those that detest papparazzi's in their own lives as well. Cosmic irony, or just a small world?

Hah, yeah it's my real name, glad you find it classy.
But man, I've always wondered how classical composers could have such impressive names. I mean like Jean Sibelius or Claude Debussy or... Leos Janacek...or or Edgar Varèse. Man, these guys have some sublimely classy names!
I'm pretty sure a large part of their success can be adressed to their names

I'd bet that some of the people who hang here are famous to famous people, like squids Scot Solida and Tim Conrardy to name a few .
I heard from a reliable source that Vince Clark checks KVR out regularly, and why you may ask? coz he's human like the rest of us and loves to get an interesting freebie ocasionally too.
