Good luck, guys my streak is about to end
. I have just run out of time to finish my track, especially after my computer just crashed, and I hadn't saved for a few hour,s and it seems the auto save didn't work. I just won't have the time to finish now I think and so will have to sit this one out. I must say I didn't click very well with this plugin and struggled for a long time just to get some sounds. This month has been busy for me as well as having a cold for the last week I just didn't get there. I don't need to stress now to rush something for the sake of it. I aim to try again next month.

My first ever entry! This piece was unfinished, but here's what I had 5 minutes before the deadline. Also doesn't help that we had a power outage last night for literally 5 hours

DAW: Reaper
22 Instances of Zebralette 3
1 RandARP (by CodeFN42)
1 Notemapper (by CodeFN42)
1 Wider by Polyverse
3 ReaEQ (stock)
2 Master Limiter (stock)
I've done music all my life, but sound synthesis is another beast. Zebralette is insanely impressive and powerful! I spent several hours on that opening pluck sound, so I had to use it! I also spent hours making a Rhodes imitation, more drums, and some funky jazz fusion, but I ran out of time. Next Zebralette, I'll be ready!
Also shoutout to Taron and Eylumar for a few presets shared on the Discord.
P.S. I was scrambling to get Soundcloud updated and working. Haven't used it in years. Hence the slight delay in sharing. I hope this is still acceptable. If not, I fully understand.

You might want to check your track, something seems to have gone wrong...hennessey wrote: Fri Oct 31, 2025 7:12 pm Entry:

I had to delete and re-add. It was stuck in "processing". I've updated my post.
Thanks for the heads up. I've never seen that before.

How many years is this plugin under beta development?
Is it same as Zebra 3? Then forget voting for it for a beta for ever plugin.
Sorry to say this.

It is the precursor to Zebra 3. Not sure what that has to do with voting?

We're voting for each other's works in One Synth Challenge, it was done in Z3, and not Zebra, but Zebralette.

Voted! And I left at least one comment on each of the soundcloud pages
This was HARD! Some pieces were well-synthesized, some well-composed, some insanely well-mixed, some impressively creative, and every combination!
Maybe because it's my first month participating, but I am beyond inspired rn. It also helps that Zebralette is such an interesting synth. I'm a little sad to move on, but I learned a ton, and I'll be keeping it in my arsenal. I also continued work on my own entry, since I ran out of time. Maybe I'll share a souped up version at some point.
Thanks y'all, and good luck!
(P.S. I hope it's okay that I mentioned a few tracks. I was careful not to mention any scores lol)

- I literally woke up this morning with Button Moon Rave (Silverpants) and 200b (Hennessey) playing in my head. Some fun melodies & catchy grooves!
- I worked out this morning to Dreams (ZioMau) & Biomechanoid (VCA-089).
- Dark Ride (TobiasMiller), Exodyne (Terrasomniac), Circus Zebralette (Marks-a-whybikky), The Fifth Dawn (MadMcMan), & Equus Quagga (Ontrackp) were my driving music.
- I'm considering teaching my recorder students some Irish Mastadon (Negoba) this Friday (Yes, I'm 100% serious).
- Perchance a (Striped) Trance Pt2 (DoctorBob) is playing as I'm typing this novel
.

I am in favor of any synth that allows you to free draw oscillators and envelopes. It stays true to the spirit of Daphne Oram's Oramics Machine.
