2) When you select a bunch of notes in SX, say, a chord, and change velocities in the velocity bar they will NOT keep their relations to each other but change to the same velocity for each note, which is just uberlame. I want my velocity relations to stay the same.
I like the velocity tool in Logic, but u can acctually change the vel parameteres in Cubase so they keep their relations to each other in ( dont remember exactly)a drop down list. Velocity->>>>Change. Its in the dropdown list where u quatizise.
Not the best way but it can be done.

Otherwise Im getting a bit paranoid by u Sascha. U seems to be employed by a company to make Cubase look like shit in your crusade "against" (you will oppose to this) it. Ive seen your opinions in several subjects and you are always the one that takes the hardest stand against Cubases "limitations", though u use it ofcourse.
Very good points I must admit, but the way u crusade makes them irrelavant for me.

Cheers.

File/Preferences/MIDI/midi controller input to automation tracks.

Also even at the MIDI track fader it´s assignable any cc.
On VSTi the learn function is implemented ,maybe depending on the VSTi developer ,EG on all Native Instruments Plugs it´s available.

Each to his own I'd say.
Thing is, in the past I've been testing for quite some companies, and the only time a feature request was indeed finding its way into the program usually was when a lot of people (or testers) complained massively.

I don't really want that. I prefer dealing with "plain" MIDI data rather than with automation data for a whole number of reasons.

I know - that's why I requested such for Logic's plugins.
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.
