How about maybe just some updated versions of Hexaline and Dual Delay...or a drumsynth of somekind. The Rhino is really a benchmark for VSTs and if you could match a drumsynth to THAT quality...well then all hail! Maybe a percussive one, perhaps??

I can't get the thin, jangly sound I'm looking for (e.g. George Benson's "Affirmation") with just the "A" and "B" pickup settings. I used to own a real D6 and I recall getting this sound with the "A" and "D" settings.

Hopefully this would be a relatively modest programming effort compared to a completely new synth. I think such an enhanced TC version shouldn't be freeware, but should be priced similiar to EP-Station. I'd buy it instantly.

So would I! I've been wanting this for ages, as Ticky Clav comes close, but could be fantastic.

Do it! Do it!

There are a number of synths that would benefit greatly from such an fx pack.
I haven't fully given up on that idea... On the other hand, don't expect yet another Hammond clone from me :)

You quoted the wrong post, 'Tick - I'm sure you meant you haven't given up on the Mega Ticky Clav!!

I've thought about writing some extra-curricular apps in my own time - vst or otherwise, but I find it hard to motivate myself after spending my working week in front of the pc. Good on ya Tick, I don't imagine you have a lot of spare time!

----Just bumping this one to see what's up a month later, any word on something *new* in the works, or Rhino III, any info at all for us ?

ok, in the lab at the moment:
- RhinoFX, a beefed-up version of the Rhino FX section
- Various improvements to Rhino 2.03, as suggested by Daniel
- CheezePro, a proof of concept for my brand new, ultra optimized SSE engine - see pic below :)

I haven't made my mind about that yet, but it should be in the similar league than angelina and ep-station.

----Will the new update of Rhino include the new effects, or are those just for the seperate RhinoFX plug-in ?

Good question. It would make sense to add them into the Rhino update, isn't it ? :)

----Well, if the new effects were in the Rhino update, then people would most likely be talking about them. Could be good advertising for selling the effects plug seperately. Ultimately, you should do what you want to do in regards to the business. I just know as a Rhino user, I'd feel kinda weird if I had to buy a seperate plug-in to get the beefed up Rhino effects, just seems kinda odd. Might as well do a bigger Rhino update, go to V3, and charge the same as the effects plug sells for seperately. Then at least everyone pays for it, and the Rhino owners get it inside Rhino, and maybe a few other upgrades. Just an idea.
