If any of you can remember last year, one of the monthly themes was a Sci-fi soundtrack.

Unfortunetly, I didn't manage to finish mine in time and hence never submitted it.

So, I've dusted it off, remixed it a bit. Sorted out the highlevel, bass heavy drums, speeded it up to get it to fit in under 2 minutes, sorted out some of the dodgy timings (not all of them) and didn't master it, since that is what messed it up in the first place.

Enjoy.

Bad news is, I had a harddisk crash when I was halfway through. Good news is, I had taken a back up 2 days before the crash :D. Anyway, here is my submission for May 2005. The title of the song is Secret Place. An ambient tune with unusual vocal clips and nice atmosphere pads, bells, arps, guitars, etc.

Used Albino, TBT pocket limiter, T-Racks, Pan-Oh-Rama.

Good luck to all the participants.

Thanks a lot Koorby for hosting the track.

Finally managed to get something together. A pretty simple piece with Kontakt doing all the work. Rhodes, Double Bass and a lot of brushed cymbals. Please enjoy.
