Babya Software Group Cubase 2006 for Windows perhaps?

Post

That's salmon, not guitar tuna.

ok i apologize to the rest of kvr

based on this one very small post alone, i have totally changed my mind here, i feel suckered, and i'm on board with the opinion that we have a quasi-troll/attention seeker/game player kinda thing here

really, look at that post. wtf? did i miss something? was anyone at all mentioning guitar tuners?

well this could be entertaining for a day or two, then, add another to the wish-list of reasons so many at kvr want an ignore filter

heh

Post

lol maybe there's an explanation here but sorry i called ya names audiojunkie

Oh yeah:

Yes, Babya Virtual Bassist does resemble the above Steinberg one closely.

Great. Resembling a freebie. Erm... yes.
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

Just stop it guys, for a 14 year old that is cool work.
Lets see what I was doing with 14...
Riding bicycle and scateboard I think and started to play guitar.

@aafuss
Go ask for advice but dont behave like a big company,
dont spam forums, learn to use them in the right way. ;)

Aafuss is 17 (possibly 18). He was 14 a little over three years ago, when the interview was conducted. =9_9= IMO he ought to have outgrown this kind of behavior by age 14, but certainly by 17.

Three questions for Aafuss:

1) Have you read any of the advice you've been given in this thread?

2) Are you going to follow any of the advice you've been given in this thread?

3) Which bits?

(My best guess is that he will not answer. If he does, the response will be something along the lines of "Yes, Babya Yaga 16.9 will include a virtual hut on chicken legs and a flying mortar with matching pestle.")

I've come across the Babya stuff before, especially when the 'BabyaOS' came out.. Not the cutest stuff ever, and all very 'VB'. It looks like there is potential in this chap, but direction would be good. All I've ever seen is -ve crit of his stuff, which he has taken on the chin (and chest, ankles, nose..) - but some +ve feedback might be worthwhile.

So:

Don't irritate netizens with spam. It get gets heckles up.
Try getting hold of Delphi. It is similar to VB, but one heck of a lot more powerful and versatile, and doesn't require getting involved with C++, whilst giving (mostly) similar performance - and can distribute without the need of a wadge of runtime library.
Polish up the GUIs. Ensure stuff is lined up, colours aren't garish. If you are colour blind (not a criticism), ask advice from some friends of things that look good, and stick with those. That can also help to give coherence across products.
What you have done looks very ambitious (and suspiciously like you've picked up a load of ActiveX components and wired them together), and I wish you well with it. Concentrate on getting a few things working really well, presented well, etc. Then release and move to the next thing. Don't jump about. There are seasoned devs here from whom you could learn loads.

it would be wise for the babbya man to look like he's reading anything.

i almost respect him for trying, he's clearly put some effort into his creations, but i've got no respect for his attitude. just read some of the posts and make a comment about what's being said. are you a robot?

hey, maybe he's actually a piece of vb script?! :-o
Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

Thanks for the feedback.

don't you have any kind of opinion? or feelings?

unless you enjoy coming across like a troll, just say what's on your mind. then people will respect you. that's my tenpence.
