I heard it was an emulation of "this plugin". That's what I'm hoping for.
But my guess is CS80 and something niche. An electric piano a la String Machine would be nice.

I herewith breach my NDA, but who cares:
It'll be a meticulously sampled recorder (found in the attic of the coder's parent home) with 12 round robins and advanced phrasing possibilities. This will be the real game changer. It'll be on all of my tracks. It'll blow all other 2021 products out of their luke warm bathing water. Can't wait to try it! Hyper hyper!

The Evolver did herald the new age of analogs and hybrids that we’re currently enjoying. Springing the 08, MoPho, Tempest, Prophet 12 and their variants. I think it made a lot of other companies see the success of DSI and then start producing analogs. It’s long out of production, there’s nothing really like it in production, and there are so few PERs and PEKs out there that the prices are sort of in the realm of vintage.chk071 wrote: Sun Feb 07, 2021 4:51 pmI would wonder what the point is though. It's not a classic synth, by any standards.
I still hope for a OB-8 or OB-X.
Plus, it’s a sound that I’ve never found in software. The Matrix 12 V gets closest to the sound of that filter, but nothing else is really similar about it. Maybe there’s not enough fans to warrant the emulation of the PolyEvolver, but what if they did a sort of DSI mashup? Add in the wave morphing and oscillator character effects of the Prophet 12 and you could have the Evolver, MoPho, 08 and Prophet 12 covered in one plugin. You don’t think that would sell?

Oberheim has been done to death and there's not much of a challenge for the developer.chk071 wrote: Sun Feb 07, 2021 4:51 pmI would wonder what the point is though. It's not a classic synth, by any standards.

The Poly evolver is completely mad...
I got the impression from the questionnaire from G-Force recently, that they were looking for a challenge, something exciting that would make 'em wake up at 2:30 in the morning with an idea that just had to be addressed...
I thought the Poly E would supply that...
I have an MEK, a Poly would be awesome but they're moving up price wise, and there's not many around...
I'm tired of being insane. I'm going outsane for some fresh air.

oh that would be nice. Niche too and that might fit their description for the "other product".
Still think the main one is a CS80.
My other thought was that they are local and have a good relationship with Novation..so that also mean the late Chris Hugget. I know they did the ImpOSCar, maybe something based on the Wasp?
