Would be too nice to be true. This way Avenger would replace many of the VSTi of choice in my productions, which means I would definitely have to upgrade my PC!!!

Avenger is great I should have bought it earlier.
These 2 new packs sound awesome as well.
What started as as 160€ synth, quickly turn into a €400 library this way

The universe is against me
I was out today morning to buy a new graphics card... there was no GT 1030 available (that´s the f*ck with living on a little island) and so I chose a GT 710, which was mentioned by zART... it was cheap and I just wanted to have something to test...

Went home, put into the computer, started and ... it hangs on the BIOS screen... no chance to enter the BIOS nothing...
Tried a few combinations, different slots... nothing....

Okay, everything back to original and booted Windows with the inbuilt one, which drivers I had deinstalled before putting in the GT 710...
Windows reinstalled the drivers... I started Bitwig to check with Avenger... Avenger loaded up real quick and GUI was there in less than 2 seconds...
Tried again... fast as lightning...
Checked in FL Studio... fast as lightning...

Rebooted the computer... started Bitwig... loaded Avenger... and waited and waited... back to the 6.5 seconds load....
Tried FLS same old story...
Tried to update the drivers but latest Intel built giving me an error message on installation, that my system specs are not enough...
Tried to update the drivers from Windows device manager...
Windows downloaded and installed some, which f*cked up the display, so I restarted the computer with the power switch...
Windows came up... started Bitwig, load Avenger, yeah... fast as lightning... tried FLS... yeah ...
Rebooted the computer, loaded Bitwig...loaded Avenger... and waited and waited again...

So, it´s definetely my computers fault... there seem to be some issues with the graphics drivers, but I am not able to sort them out...
I think it´s soon time for a new one ...

But Avenger seems to work as it should... in the rare little happy moments of this story, it showed up the GUI in about a second... so no reason to worry on your side... it´s my f*cking old machine, respectfully the motherboard... with the i5 I got inside, I am quite happy...

ok sounds really weird... So Santa please listen, and bring him an up to date machine

Hey Manuel,
in Trance One Expansion there is a preset called
"LD Heavy Comb Distortion UNFERTIG"
with just a simple saw wave - seems like a default preset

Manuel: I was considering grabbing the 'ultimate fills vol.1' sample pack, but I'd actually rather spend a bit more and get Avenger with an expansion. Would anything Avenger related get me similar content? I guess I'm mostly looking at drum fills. EDM FX expansion perhaps?

yes both expansions, the Effects:EDM and the Effects:House are basically complete and details fills / riser, like the samplepack
But in Avenger, you have much more control than with a samplepack: your fills follow your BPM and you can choose the start/end note-key. Furthermore you can add variations with our macro buttons and modwheel automation

Thanks. My impression from the videos were that effects: EDM had a lot more swooshes/risers than drum fills as opposed to the sample pack, but perhaps that's not the case?

Thx, but it turns out more and more, that this machine got serious problems... I cannot even update the BIOS...
So I´ll stop atm and will start to built up a new system when I got some money left... but thx anyway
