I then tried UniExtract which worked all right, but I stopped it when I got that this is a demo of some sort. Exactly how "limited" is the functionality of this demo?

thanks for the tip bobsled,i just tried UniExtract and it unzipped it ok,but it's a 2 week only trial restricted demo.so i think i'll pass on that one.

thanks for the tip bobsled,i just tried UniExtract and it unzipped it ok,but it's a 2 week only trial restricted demo.so i think i'll pass on that one.

There are NO Limitations at all actually! Loads and Saves DX7 Sysex Files and No Beeps or Noise Dropouts. I've been using for about a YEAR Now and I think I would of noticed some limitations by then? The 2 weeks trial is Bogus

I just played around with this, it is so cool! It really is a good emulation of a DX7. With some limitation, but certainly sounds really good.

I just played around with this, it is so cool! It really is a good emulation of a DX7. With some limitation, but certainly sounds really good.

Wow, nice synth. Thanks, BFunKu, I overcame my irrational fear of demos and installed it. Very nice.

I can't get VX7 to install, repairign it via WinRAR or using Uniextract.

Anyone care to mirror a working version? =/

VX7 doesn't allow you to download it completely, what you have is a 99% completion. Here's how you use it

extract files with winrar, don't just double click it, go to "extract files"

it doesn't say it'll stop working after 2 weeks,it just says after 2 weeks you must buy it or stop using it.
now maybe it's vapourware?,so would that make it ok to to use it? i doubt it.maybe i'm being too fussy?
