It doesn't have to. There is a feature called "Add Library" now in Kontakt (also in 3.5) and you can hit add library and browse to the Infinite Player folder from Kontakt 4 and as long as you have authorized it already then it will recognize it and play. If not then you'll have to get it authorized with NI's service center first. Then it just shows up on your library images on the left side of the Kontakt screen.

I saw that feature called "Add Library" when I downloaded KP4 from IK. I think it's much more improved than KP2. I found that one very difficult to use. So the bulb is slowly lighting like a flourescent :D and now that I see we're approaching 300 and looked at the EZ Player Pro....New toys to destroy :)
