200+ people have already joined the Group Buy. It means that the lowest price trier has been reached. $99 is the current price. However, there are some extras to be earned. Next target level is 300.

Yesterday I finally made up my mind about this GB (other priorities to take care of) but no luck : today I got the following message twice in a couple of hours time :

"We're Sorry...
There was an error processing your request from"

(from what ?)
"... We are unable to determine the precise cause of the problem. Note : if you were trying to process a payment, the credit card processor may be in maintenance, try Paypal instead".
(Paypal does not seem to be an option this time).

And yesterday I had a funny message as well, telling me that my card would not be charged before march.... 1969 (!!). That smelled not too good imo, and made me stop the transaction right away.

I have already purchased on esoundz many times and never encountered that kind of issue. Server's exhaustion after too many successful GBs ? 8)

I think it's useless to try and contact support on a saturday... (hopefully there will not be double charge...)
Maybe Squids will chime in with an advice ?

Your best bet is to probably email allen (at) esoundz (dot) com. He has always been very responsive.

I believe that this is the link for paypal purchase: http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?ProductID=4229.

Cheers.
I too am holding out for this, as well as seeing what the bonuses for hitting 300 will be. When I know which 4 new kits are available to choose from, I will make my decision. I'm already drowning in drum kits so I need extra incentive to jump on board this time.

Also, many of us from previous group buys are STILL waiting for that Drum Masters 1 upgrade to v2. It's no hurry for me really, just want to make sure Squids and co. don't forget about us ;)

Post

Are the two new multi-track kits available to everyone in this GB2? Or are they limited to just those getting in before 300?

Your subconscious memories are bubbling to the surface.

"Cassette." That's a word you don't hear much anymore. I have a box full of them. Some still blank and ready for recording! Maybe they'll sell on ebay as antiques.

Wonder where Squids is? He usually chimes in regularly.
Now that's a word I haven't heard in a long long time... a long long time. :D (name the movie for 1 epoint - first one to name it gets a sole point of E).

I am a bit under the weather hence my lack of chiminginness. Nothing too terrible. Just a coughing, sneezing, sleeping, achey kind of thing. It'll pass. I just picked up some Tussin.

I'll be back (no that's not a name the movie).

Some of you need to use your Jedi mind skills on people. We're at 296, so we only need 4 more!

You stretch yourself too thin, my 8-legged friend. Always with so much on the go. But we appreciate your efforts.

Hope you're feeling better soon. :-)

I lost track for a few weeks here. I am assuming nothing is downloadable yet? All I see in my account is:

"The Ultimate Studio Drums Bundle II: The Sequel : No downloadable products on eSoundz"

So I am under the impression that downloads won't go up until the actual end of the GB. True?

Thanks.

Just to keep this thread going, I have a question for the veteran Infinite Player users.

How do you setup an effect, e.g., reverb, for a single articulation of say a snare :?:

I only see the snare hits being managed as a "group" in the effects section. I am using Cubase 5 and Kontact Player 4 for what it is worth.

Thanks.

If you get Kontakt to display the mixer, you will see each kit piece on its own mixing channel. Apply the effects to the inserts on those channels to apply effects to specific kit pieces. You can also do it "under the hood" if you own the full version of Kontakt.

EDIT >>> oh... I just re-read your question. I don't think you can do it for a single articulation within a kit piece unless you own the full version of Kontakt.

I've got the full version of Kontakt - which I've been using for quite some time - and I'm not sure there's any way to do this either. Maybe some Kontakt guru could enlighten us. That said, I use V-drums, so I really wouldn't have a need for such a feature.
