At least with Sylenth, the various soundsets had some pleasing tones in them... usually not to my taste, but regularly something pleasing there nonetheless. Every Spire soundset is awful... not the sound quality just the type of sounds which come from a style of music that is like fingernails on the chalkboard to me. Everything is so hard and aggressive now, with no emotional feeling at all.
I don't know if you ever demo'd Spire (i recall you wrote something about that you don't like programming it much), but it's well capable of soft tones, as well as more aggressive tones. Actually, that's the thing i like about it, it's capable of a wide variety of different sounds. That's also what makes a good synth for me, that it's versatile, and doesn't always sound same-ish.

No doubt you know all about those girlie girlie tones :D

Oh come on... tomorrow i'll be off your picky list again anyway, and there will have been no benefit for you to make a snippy comment. ;)

For people who spent one second with it, yes. Or Fanboi-Hater types.

Spire is another great synth...
I will take the Lord's name in vain, whenever I want. Hail Satan! And his little goblins too.

There are no more "new patches" to be stumbled upon in sylenth1 people. That's a ridiculous statement. It's been done 50 times over.

If you play presets.

actually, the new bank has some better presets. I'm not much of a preset guy, but I noticed the presets are getting better.

One thing I can say about hive is it has some quality presets.

Are there new sounds to be discovered in a Marshall JCM800? If not, does this mean that people are wrong for buying Marshall JCM800's and dialing in their own settings?

You know, I don't understand this whole syleth is better because it is less argument. That's a millennial edm thing. It's the same thing with these new video games. All the mods to cheat the game, make it stupid easy.

Here's a mod for you, once installed it displays the words "congrats, you won, no need to play." What is the freaking point? You guys just want a virtual button you can click and the whole thing pops out the other side done for you. Then you go around going "look what I did." Then you wonder why people "just don't get me man."

It's a balance, it's about good design. It needs to be functional, but the whole reason for being "functional" is the root word "fun", because you are supposed to LIKE playing with the instruments.

There are no more settings to be discovered on a marshal. You buy it because it sounds like a marshal I guess. It's what you want.

The only valid argument for silenth I've heard is that it is the sound that you want. That's a valid argument. But there are no more discoveries to be made with silenth.

TBH I can not get over skyrim. Every time I finish a game I restart it. Stupid I know, but it's what I like.
