Korg makes some great plug ins, but can't say much about their software quality control. Korg Software pass still does not work, it just tells me to update, and when I do, to update again. I just manually downloaded plugin updates from my account.

Plus the process to originally register them from a previous version when I first bought them was also a nightmare. Hope they shape up and get some more competence in the software department. Oh well, at least I can buy them.. unlike Roland..

Instead of updating through Pass itself, download the most recent version of it directly and run the installer over your current installed version. At least, that's what did the trick for me.

I could save the preset inside Polysix (not demo), but when I load the project in FLS (not a demo) after saving it, it doesn't load the preset I saved, it just reset. Still, I could find the preset I saved in the browser.

So, definitely a bug with FLS as it works fine in Studio One.

So are the previous older plugs replaced/deleted? Somehow this removed my older ones?

BTW is it me or there is a sound difference in the Wavestation?

Okay, I got this reply on my ticket:

The demo version does not allow you to save the sounds.
If it is allowed, you can use the demos like as mostly "licensed" version since things you have to do are saving your project every 20mins and closing/relaunching the DAW.
Sorry but this is the spec of the demo version.

But for your case it looks like a problem. I have replied to them with the details you have shared above. I will update once they reply. If it is really a bug at their end, hope they will resolve it soon.

Yep, read just page before. Report to them. Same is happening for Monopoly.

FL Studio, Reason - they have problems in patch reloading. Cubase, Reaper don't. For some weird reason.

I don't know though if all the Korg plugs have such a bug or it's only polysix.

I'll try to test on some hosts with all the collection plugs (except Triton I don't have). I'm on Windows 10 though.

I thought there was a slight difference, but it's probably just the effect of a having a new usable interface with a few new sounds.

The placebo effect - bigger interface = bigger sound
