Actually... the "we should all be in know" addressed the copy protection thingie, and, that's not "we all". It's not even "we all in this thread".

Well...

1. The Avenger registration / download website is now offline after multiple installation problems user reports, so sometimes waiting a bit is no bad thing.

2. On the east coast of Canada, where I understand ReFx is based, it is 2am.

I am really hoping Nexus 3 isn’t moving to Codemeter like Avenger just did. I’ll already never be updating Avenger as a result; I’d hate to also have to give up in Nexus updates. The ReFx website says “Our own online activation; no eLicenser or other 3rd party software required,” so I’m assuming the 3rd party (Wibu) Codemeter is not required, but I’ll feel better when I see for certain.

It's their own developed protection. Not Codemeter.

What's so bad about Codemeter? I never owned anything using this protection so I have no idea how it works.
