Because tag browser displays a tag dictionnary and the tag dictionary is wrong for Drone.
I just wait for couple of other fixes in the tag Library and will release a new version.

Thanks
Will we get the ability to manage third party content like Simon’s excellent Falcon libraries in the browser at some point? Perhaps an import and tagging tool?

Are there any plans too incorporate a " similar sounds " feature.
The new browser library is excellent but it really should have come with the ability to seek similar sounds also.
Omnisphere nailed this feature and the bizarre thing is that all these years later and still no other developers have jumped on this feature.
It really is a time saver in a big way

now that we have audio previews, this is something that we consider

Indeed a good idea as it works wonders in Synth Anthology 4.otristan wrote: Fri Nov 08, 2024 1:56 pm now that we have audio previews, this is something that we consider

I don't use SA4.
Similar sounds feature is in it?
If so that's good news as it would mean UVI already have script written and transferring to Falcon wouldn't be a huge task

I've had this synth for a while and I have mixed feelings about it. It's definitely a great plugin for someone who likes to have complex tool for creating sounds (like me). But I simply don't believe that this is just 3rd major version of this synth, and there are still a lot of strange bugs and solutions - it really looks like it was designed by "we know best" type developers who ignores any users' opinions. Drag&drop doesn't exist where it supposed to work. No control over ADSR or LFO outside the Keygroup section. Some effects are impossible to put into the Keygroup section (so for example creating a sound in which you first apply distortion and then dynamically filter - impossible, because distortion works only in the layer or top section, and dynamic control of the ADSR-based filter is only possible in the Keygroup section). The plug-in can't remember the target directory when saving presets and keeps pointing me to the desktop. There is a mess in the preset files - relative and absolute paths mixed up, the preset name doesn't always update in the file, etc. I can now hang Falcon in two cases, and in a few others the sound "stuck" and I had to save and load the preset again. Adding an effect using the drag&drop method causes the effect window to jump to the top (even though I'm adding the effect at the bottom). The equalizer stopped working once and I had to add it again. Some effects can kill the CPU. Plus some more bugs I don't remember right now.
Don't get me wrong - this is a very good synth, but in my opinion not worth its price (even the promo price). After a $300 synth I expected at least more interesting effects (and I'm not talking about adding a fifth or sixth average-sounding chorus) and a little better workflow. I will definitely play around with Falcon a lot more, because it's a very nice tool, but the super enthusiastic opinions are imo a bit exaggerated. I hope it will be developed and more polished.
It's just my opinion.

If you don't understand why some effect doesn't work into a keygroup.
That's mean your are the bug

I didn't expect rude answers - that's for sure.Gam456 wrote: Sat Nov 09, 2024 11:17 pm If you don't understand why some effect doesn't work into a keygroup.

I can control effects outside osc section using envs and lfos (and velocity etc) in synths like PhasePlant, Serum etc. I can put distort and then filter for example and connect that filter to ENV controlled by keyboard, but not in Falcon. So sure - some effects may not work in keygroup, but why ENV can't work proper outside keygroup then? It limits this synth a lot.
PS. "Distort" was an example - I can put distort in keyzone, but not some other stuff (guitar boxes for example).

it would be awesome if we can get wavetable/waveform selection on the FM module.
will it happen? pretty please?
