Well you have ruled out the browser, but not your computer or security setup. If there was an actual problem with the file there would be a flood of complaints. Try another computer.GreyLion wrote:Pheeleep -- Thanks for the suggestion! I've tried downloading in Chrome, IE, and Firefox. All fail. Firefox gets to the very end and gives a failure message, the others don't. The zips just won't pass CRC check. It's almost as if the site wants something from me at the very end, to validate the download, integrate my key, maybe give it a unique signature. I wonder if the issue is because it's an academic version. Maybe I should have gotten a different link from them. I'll happily pay the extra $10 if that's what it takes.

Oh, well.

Yeah, might as well. Haven't had any problems whatsoever with other downloads, of course. Ever. Might as well fire up the Chromebook or charge up my old Lenovo laptop and see what happens... Was just hoping there was a simple, specific solution, I guess...
EDIT: Nope, still broken on the ChromeBook. Guess we'll see how long it takes to get the Lenovo up. Sorry for the on-going drama. Like I said, I started out just wondering if I was the only one with this issue.
SECOND EDIT: Nope. Borked on the Lenovo, too. Guess I'll wait until I can get some response from Support. No more junking up this thread, in any case.
You guys have fun with the new toy.

Gercek was off (in İstanbul) yesterday he's gonna sort out the issues today. He takes care of our 1st level support.GreyLion wrote:

Oh, well.
Regarding your issue, we have a very simple download process, it's just a http file transfer from our server to your computer. In the part we used to create zip files dynamically but we stopped doing that so I don't see why your download would fail. I do not think it's something on our end. Something is not right on your end/network.
I just tried downloading/extracting/running setup, download finished in 30 seconds: We're gonna send you a direct link maybe that would help. Could you PM me here on KVR ?

Hi. I already owned SynthMaster, so I got this one too. It's a great, intuitive thing to play with.
But ...is the manual around somewhere? Selecting "SynthMaster One User Manual" doesn't do anything (OSX 10.12.3, Logic Pro X; FAQ does work). I would also propose to make it more "discoverable".
Even more interesting to me: is there some documentation about the wave tables? In particular: which formats, where to place them?

I still wonder if there will be ever GUI´s which are ready for high resolution screens.
Compared to the iOS app (i mean the synthmaster player) all KV331 desktop plug-ins have blurry graphics on my macbook pro retina.
Sorry, i know the sound is important but i don´t know why it is so hard to make crystal clear sharp GUI´s for desktop.
I like the GUI from Synthmaster One more compared to Synthmaster 2.8 f.e. but still all GUI versions which are included looks very old and blurry and it´s really not fun after 30 minutes to work with it....for me at least.
As usual it´s my personal preference and it might a great experience for others.
But i still wait until the desktop version might look as sharp as the KV331 iOS apps.
I know if i look at some other plug-ins it should be possible.

There is no written manual? I really hate video manuals: it's impossible to find specific information. You have to sit through a whole lot of unwanted explanation, and if you miss the tidbit you're interested in, there's no way to tell.kv331 wrote:FLWrd wrote:
Edit: got it working. SMONE apparently doesn't recognize WT/WTS files, but can read WAV files in blocks of 2048 samples. So, onto experimentation.
Old text: Anyway, the video (04) explains the path, but not the format. SMONE doesn't show the wavetable files (.WT and .WTS) I put there. I quit and restarted Logic (as is required for SM2), but no success. What else can I try? Do you have a link to some wave-table files that should work? Can it be a permissions problem (I'm running from a non-admin account)?

Those retina displays aren't yet very common in Turkey, and aren't very toddler compatible:) My 5 years old kid has already broken several tablets, one TV set, and a laptop.Sorry, i know the sound is important but i don´t know why it is so hard to make crystal clear sharp GUI´s for desktop.

The format is .wav, you can use the same wavetables that also are supported by Serum, Icarus or Falcon, as far as I know. Just search for a free preset pack including wavetables for Serum, there are at least some of them that are free, check Cymatics.FLWrd wrote: Old text: Anyway, the video (04) explains the path, but not the format. Regarding your question about permissions there shouldn't be any problems as long as you don't install the user files to the C:\Program Files.
Mac Mini M4 Pro | 14 Cores (10P/4E) | 48GB RAM | Studio One | Reason | Bitwig Studio | Logic Pro | FL Studio | Cubase Pro | Waveform | Reaper | Renoise | ~1000 VSTs/AUs | ~350 REs

Same here.Ingonator wrote:I could confirm this here in Live 9. It say "New Preset" instead of "LD Infected Lead" It play the LD Infected Lead tho, but it say "New Preset" in green
If i open the preset browser the correct patch is highlighted in the list at the right part of the browser.
Hope the fix update is coming soon.
Anyway, Great synth!

Sorry about the user manual, still in the works. Right now we only support WAV / AIFF files. but I'll look into .WT and .WTS format as wellFLWrd wrote:Anyway, the video (04) explains the path, but not the format.
