Why would I make an effort in this pointless conversation. I know the definitions of generic, but I'm also smart enough to infer their implications which you clearly aren't. I've wasted enough time with this. For those of you who own Vital, Dune 3, and Hive as well the Text to Wavetables created in Vital work in both of them as well.
I assume hand drawn WTs will work as well but I haven't tried that yet. It's next on my to do list.

Yes at least for Dune 3. Vital will load WTs made in D3.
EDIT: To be clear Vital will load WTs in .wav format made in Dune 3 not in .wt format.

Something worth mentioning I think.. according to the guy in this video, the ' Text To Speech' features requires connecting to an online service. That's disappointing I feel, as it's really the only thing I would have considered putting money down for, and as for the sound which I've not mentioned yet, it's to my ears, just too weak sounding... I'm sorry to say. That's compared to the other synths I have like Hive 2 to name just one.

I bought Vital some hours ago, and after playing with it I like it and don't like it - if that makes sense
Good:
1. It looks pretty
2. It is very visual which makes it easy to see what is happening
3. I tried to use some Serum tutorial videos for Vital and the sound is pretty close - the difference mostly is user error since I don't yet know all the stuff in Vital (but like I said, I bought it only couple of hours ago so veeeery new with this).
Bad:
1. It's loads up very slow... I mean even if it's open in a project and I close the GUI and open it again, it opens slowly (can't remember any other plugin to be this slow). And this is quite annoying when working for longer periods on a project and you need to wait for a plugin to open up.
2. For some reason my head start to hurt after using Vital for a while (might be the color scheme doesn't really fit for my eyes - or maybe it is just because it is a new synth and I am trying to figure out how everything works - but then again can't remember having same issue with something like Sytrus or even Serum)
3. Unison blend is in different tab than main OSC + Unison Blend has NO visual just numeric values (visual would be so much clearer/easier to see what is happening)
Anyways: I am not complaining. This is a CHEAP synth (or even free if you will). And this is still pre-release so there might be new colors for the GUI when the real release comes (or later in some point). And the slow opening of the plugin might be fixed.
EDIT:
Good:
Wave edit option is very cool! Not the best maybe, but for cheap/free synth just amazing!
Bad:
Cpu heavy - seems to be even a bit heavier than Serum after some quick testing (again - maybe this will be fixed)

Do you mean me? I am in windows + using VST2 (I did read people having problems when trying to use VST3).

I had the same issue with Helm (from the same developer) too, and I think there's something weird going on in the high frequencies. For me, it really helps to add a low-pass filter/eq (at around 17-18k) to reduce the high frequencies. Maybe it'll help you too.Tannaliini wrote: Wed Nov 18, 2020 9:27 pm 2.
