The new FM dropdown menu is great, a pity that one oscillator has to be sacrificed in order to use it as an FM modulator (as it can't output sound at the same time) but I assume that was the only way you could implement this, other synths can also output the FM modulator at the same time (like e.g. Diversion).

First attempt at skinning VPS Avenger. 70% done ish. Few issues with textlabel placement and some images, will finish it tomorrow. Will do some final touches then



Is it easy on the eyes? Might change the dial / knobs though...

I am still hoping on something like this for Avenger......any word on this one?

Version 1.3.1 is crashing Logic on startup, all the time.

I can get a consistent crash (Ableton will lock up completely) by doing the following:

Load Avenger, load Init Patch.
Add OSC 2.
Set OSC 1 FM to OSC 2.
Go to OSC 2 tab.
Adjust FM of OSC 2 to 100%.

Emailing support. Figured I'd list it here too, in case anyone else sees this - maybe will save them an email to support.

New FM Cross Mod sounds amazing, however huge on CPU load (never mind...) and still crashing a bit here and there.

Here is a drone patch which uses the new cross FM-feature (2 carrier Oscs, each one with it's dedicated modulator OSC, one using a multi-sampled soundscape, the other one a wavetable, the carriers are sine and triangle), I reverted back to 1.3.0 so I could go on programming...lovely new possibilities!

Having no problem to get similar crashes by playing around with FM within a minute or so - complete lock of Ableton with sustained note in Win10. Sounds gorgeous though while it lasts

Knowing them, would bet that hotfix will be incoming in 8... 7... 6...
