Actually it doesn't. Things need to be tested an various combinations, you will never be able to try all of them and you will never be able to beta test all of them. At least if you are a company that small and want to make a living out of it. In that case you need to make use of your users and their experiences.

If the update does not work for you - just go back to a version working. It's easy. Nobody takes anything from you. Just wait for things to get fixed.

If it works: be grategul, somebody just made you a hugh present for free!

Grateful, sure, this software and developers are great.

Only you can't install the old working version simply, since it is not available anymore. What if you didnt keep the old installer? Then you are pretty screwed now. That i was referring to. Please provide the last stable version's installer, too.

I confirm : with Avenger v1.3.2 there are many presets that cause rage-quit of Logic (last version) on El Capitan 10.11.6.

I returned to Avenger v1.3.1 and the problem is solved now.

I tested that with the brand new Trance expansion.

II have version 1.3.1 installed. Avenger crashes with version 1.3.2 when sequences are launched. Now I have the problem that notes from C2 can not be played anymore. The message Route disables appears.

From day one people had problems with various new versions.

Conclusion: Always keep old installers. I could provide you with every installer I ever downloaded. Or don't adopt early.

Early adopters will always take a a risk - even companies like Apple or Microsoft need to hotfix sometimes.

You can download 1.3.1 version from VPS account. It is available in mine anyway. Avenger automatically downloaded the dreaded 1.3.2 tho.

Everything's fine with 1.3.1.

And yes, 1.3.2 crashes FL Studio (both 32 and 64 bit versions) upon playing expansion sounds (not only sequences).

Yesterday I updated to 1.3.1. there is the problem that the notes from C2 on the sequences are not played. This happens when you select multiple sequences. There is a connection to the oscilators in the OSC section and no routing is specified.

I think Rene (and Manuel of course) will deserve and need their holiday off

I just bought a Roland Octacapture (because my motu gave to much crackles with Avenger. And found out the ASIO4all did even better ! )
But now testing Octacapture with Reaper and Avenger, my project playing gets into a loop and eventually crashes.
Stresses me allot for the upcoming concert I have with this setup.
I'm not sure if it's Avenger 1.3.2 or soundcard related. With the motu it sometimes crashes also but not as often, so might be an Avenger problem as crashes didn't happen with the motu before. (only cracks)

Anyways, have good holidays you all!

Update: while I was writing, same crash happened again. Pray for me

Hello everyone.

I did the Avenger update but when I try to load it, Avenger is in black screen and Cubase 9.5.10 crash.

I have attached a screenshot for you to understand. All my drivers are up to date.

I tried to uninstall it, and take an older version but the result is the same.

Can someone help me?

This is my favorite plug and I work with it all the time.

Well the latest update is buggy as tuck, if it manages to crash even Cubase (which appears to be the most tested DAW with Vengeance team). Read Manuel's latest post (scroll up, red text, can't miss it) and downgrade - or downgrade the last version that works for you. (and keep the last 4-5 installers, just in case)

I’ve read Manuel’s post.

I’ve tested 1.3.1, 1.2.6... and same result.

Vst 3 I’ve the message and crash.

Vst 2 only crash.
