We have extended the final phase of beta testing a few weeks and we have also extended the actual release date of the final version to accommodate for us being a bit anal with our first actual software release. We will continue the $99 sale price while we are finalizing the release version of MixControl Pro.

And thanks to all for the bug reports thus far. We will endeavor to make sure that the final version is as bug free as possible :)

Good news, Steven.

Trying this out now, somehow I missed the news that the beta was in my downloads! Anyway, it's really nice so far. LOVE the saturation #1 setting, and the compressors are quite nice; very easy to quickly get the sound I'm going for. I'll review the comments to date and add some bugs/requests shortly.

Do we report bugs, etc here?

Bugs can be reported through a specific thread in the beta-testing sub-forum of the DNR support forum below:

Bugs can also be sent in via e-mail @ support(at)teamdnr(dot)net :)

Awesome, thanks! Will do! :D

I like the new version a lot, but I don't like how you have to "turn on" the knobs on the EQ every time... FabFilters "Click-drag" is just so much more intuitive. Then again FabQ does not have a Comp/Limiter and such built in. :P

Also it seems like the mouse sensitivity seems jumpy and I must use the gain knob to make little adjustments. :( The mouse-wheel Q is cool though. However the general feel of the nodes on the EQ is rather cheap/weird/not smooth feeling.

Any way to add "right-click" midi learn/assign to the interface? Would be nice to route the compressor to a Midi controller really quick like. ;) More organic feeling.

Overall good work! Thank you! Refinement, refinement, refinement...

had a little sneak during my break, and hace reported a bug

just wanted to post here

- love the new gui...even better in action
- love the functionality/updating of the gui to reflect the different modules in 'small'
- loving the saturation modes

and to ask if there is a manual available yet :)

Hi,

I was massively pissed of with the pricing up and down of Mixcontrol and have voiced it more than once here, but after trying out the new beta I will shut my mouth.
To quote Gordon Ramsay:
f**king Hell

Very glad you're enjoying the new beta :) We have been collecting and organizing all bug reports from the forum and issue a new beta once each of the most outstanding bugs have been addressed.

The manual will be added to either a later beta version or the final release. Reason was supposed to finalize the new manual after editing, but has been hospitalized indefinitely. Unfortunately his health has degraded rapidly but I am awaiting news from his father. I will ask Michael to post more information about his condition for those who are close to him in the new forum.

no sweat on the manual, just thought it might help with testing if we had an idea of 'expected' behaviours

anyway, that's of no importance considering......wow, what's up with reason ?? i remember him having some surgery not so long ago....you obviously don't need to go into personal family details, but please pass on my well wishes to him and all of you

seriously :(

Also, the old manual is still included with the last stable v1 installation, which does include 90% of the original functionality :)

That's not good :( Thanks for letting us know. This is really sad news... he was the guy that convinced me to finally pull finger and start doing sounds banks... even helped me find a host and gave me advice on site set up and so on.
Really sad for me
