You don't need an Ignition Key. Just go into your account on the Reason Studios website and authorize your computer for offline use. Pro tip: if you are trialing any RE's, then you will be forced to log in to use them, regardless of whether or not your computer is authorized for offline use or not.AcrossTheSky wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2019 11:18 pm wondering if anyone experienced this...
I'm trying to load the reason plugin rack in Cubase 10 with the reason 11 license and reason extensions on the Ignition Key AND it will not work without being online.and Reason 11 started in the background as well..pop up says file c:boost...blah blah...error line 105...
I want to be able to use laptop and PC at will..hence the Ignition Key...anyway both machines require being online when loading reason rack ....will need to do a few tests inc authorizing the pc and see if it makes a difference...

Same, but inside Cubase 10. Blamsoft REs are really good.Greenstorm33 wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2019 12:58 am Rocking eXpanse in Bitwig hereI've been wishing I could do this ever since I decided trying to Rewire Reason to another DAW was just too much of a hassle.
The rack plugin works great so far (as in, I have not found any issues). I don't mind the Reason sequencer, but to be able to do everything inside of Cubase now is bliss. I do hope the Props implement MIDI export into the external sequencer at some point though.

If anyone from Reason Studios is listening, this looks like a nice update, but no support for high resolution screens is a deal breaker for me.
Reading through the thread, sounds like maybe the rack extension feature may be holding things back, I don't know. Whatever the case, I'm pretty sure all of Apple's products are high resolution now, so it's a standard for them at least. Hopefully it gets added somehow someway, soon, because yes this does look like a nice update beyond that.

does anybody know how to get the 'favorites lists' from version 10 to show up in 11? I installed 11 and all that stuff is gone. I've spent hours building carefully curated lists, so, this won't do....

FFS, it's hard to deal with you.EnochLight wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2019 12:58 amFrom the manual :reggie1979 wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2019 10:20 pm I cannot figure out how to get into the 30 day trail. I already have 10 but the site only gives links to download 11. Not get the 30 day trial.

I'm interested in the 30 day demo of version 11. If there is any reason I cannot please let me know, otherwise you are TOTALLY off base (which I'm used to)

I have a feeling that downloading the full program will allow you a 30 day demo period once installed. I am pretty sure that when you launch Reason 11 for the first time, it will detect that you do not have a license for it yet, and initiate the 30 day demo period.reggie1979 wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2019 2:49 amFFS, it's hard to deal with you.EnochLight wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2019 12:58 amFrom the manual :reggie1979 wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2019 10:20 pm I cannot figure out how to get into the 30 day trail. No, it doesn't. You can either do "demo mode" which isn't the full version, or nothing.
Sorry, I'm just frustrated, if because I'm a 10 owner I don't apply, I want to know.
Seems simple enough. Support for Reason these days seems DICEY, so not sure what to make of that.
I just want to be able to have my older projects load in 11 to see if it's tits.

"The 30-day trial comes with everything that Reason has to offer – no feature restrictions."
"The trial comes with both the Reason Rack Plugin and Reason standalone."
"One installer for both trial and full version - simply unlock your trial after purchase."
According to their page, it says the full version is the demo as well. Are you saying the demo is restricted in some way? If so, that sucks I guess...

Yes, the "demo" is restricted. There is a 30 day demo that is different, but FFS, I can't figure it out.
The demo page simply unlocks (well, downloads) the demo, w/o an option for the 30 day FULL trail.

The download button on the 30 day trial page I posted a link to above appears to be the same file that I downloaded when I purchased the Reason 11 upgrade. Same size, same name.

Yes, and I got an error.ShawnG wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2019 3:16 am iirc from previous versions, the full version IS the demo. If they changed that, I am unaware. Did you try logging in? that may unlock the 30 day period.
