No, Myth also has built-in oscillators with various waveforms including noise and many modules to further shape those immediately after generating the base waveforms.
You can do FM and Physical Modelling without using a single sample by disabling the Irises and using the Generation/Wave module in the OSC1 and/or OSC2 section.

So basically it is a Kult, but without all those sample mangling?

I´m not familiar with discord, registered and looked around but didn't found myth beta (only latest installers for thew other Dawesome plugins).
can anyone help me here?

Kult is very much a fixed architecture synth (apart from ability to move around FX modules). Myth is very much a modular (semi?) synth.

I suggest you download the demo. Since you aren't bothered about samples you don't need to wait until the 1.5 demo is available as the main difference with that is the new resynth modes.

They have a few common areas but they are fundamentally very different in architecture.

The areas where they are similar is that the they share the same basic modulation system, they both have oscillator effects (like imposing a saw wave on the oscillator) and similarish FX.

But outside of that fundamentally they're very different.

I'm an old fart and I love Discord. Fastest way to get support, as if Peter is busy then there are lots of people that can, and will, help with the query (obviously depends on the nature of the query).

Of course there are also other methods of support. Look in the troubleshooting section of the manual for advice, or I imagine that Tracktion has its own support process. Both of these could well be slower than joining the Discord and asking there, but I get that people don't like Discord.

We have actual support, discord is an option and more of a community hub, though we do offer support to anyone there who requires it, but Dawesome does have actual support via tracktion
