They work in buzz only. Buzz machines and effects were in use before Steinberg launched VST technology.mrblitz000 wrote:...which brings me to another question. I was looking at the various plug-ins in the Jeskola Buzz folder tree, and was impressed by the sheer number of them. Are these indeed, VST/VSTi? They're in DLL format.
(edit: It looks like those DLLs are probably buzz-machine only, and not VST...this isn't my music machine so i can't check at the moment... but from the buzzmachines website it looks like most if not all of the included plug-ins are proprietary to buzzmachines...)

They are both here I think :
http://requietus.blogspot.com/
You'll find them in the subfolders the Synthedit GUI versions extract when they are first run

Not quite. Most Buzz machines also work in FL studio using the Buzz wrapper and you can get some of them working in other VST hosts by using the Buzz to VST wrapper. There's some question as to the legality of the VST wrapper though as it's not officially licensed but it's easy enough to find if you search for it.Metanol wrote:They work in buzz only. I was never able to get the VST wrapper to work. Does it actually do anything?

Yeah it does work here.mistertoast wrote:I was never able to get the VST wrapper to work. Does it actually do anything?
Perhaps it depends on which host you try to run it on. Only tested it with Cantabile 1.2.

I can't remember the host I tried it on. Perhaps I was trying it in the Polac VST wrapper inside Buzz.
