NI Reaktor, I forgot how awesome it is

The top bar to move the instrument to another place does not exist? is there any way to enable it? or how can I move it?

Some synths have their header turned off
Go into the structure view until you see the instrument , select it .
In the left browser enable "show header "

I know that Reaktor is no longer in development but is NI still maintaining it for current systems? I see on their Mac OS compatibility page that Reaktor is not currently working with Sequoia. Will NI be updating it? I've been thinking of picking Reaktor back up after washing my hands of NI because I miss some of the kooky User Lib stuff but I'm on Sequoia.

i've not had any issues with reaktor on sequioa.. i think it's just at the stage of not being officially supported because they haven't investigated it fully yet.. but i don't keep up with reaktor chatter much other than the odd thread here. i'm sure the reaktor forum at NI might have more details about how well or unwell it is on sequoia

Anybody know if there is a good Multi FX ensemble available where somebody has gone through a bunch of classic Reaktor synths and ensembles and cannibalized all interesting effects and combined them into a single ensemble? Reverbs, choruses, phasers, flangers etc.. all inside a single cool ensemble? Anything like this exist yet?

Was just playing through Guitar Rig and was reminded of just how cool of a multi-FX system it is and it hit me that Reaktor could potentially be used for similar purposes with awesome routing and purpose made front panel for quick and nice results.

The best phasers , choruses etc..are found in the core libray . it's just a matter of stringing these together .
Then just show inlet's outlets for convenient cable dragging

It’s not a single ensemble but my blocks pack has various flangers, phasers, chorus, filters, saturators/distortion, delays, reverb, eq, lfos...

All the mod effects/lfos/delays etc have tempo sync options and the majority are based on the reaktor core library/zdf toolkit, so they’re high quality.

There’s a few rack presets included, I should probably make a post in the forum for people to share rack presets but it’s pretty dead over there.

I'm not at the advanced level of Reaktorizing that some commenters here are, but, i went down to a level of core elements and built a really lush three modulator, triple channel chorus, flanger, (8 tap) delay, looper, feedback machine. It took me three weeks of an hour here and there. I added Space Master. It was built with my knowledge of fixing and modifrying BBD and digital effects and some articles in Sound on Sound. The fun thing for me was that i could have all the modulators work together (but not sync'd to tempo). My machines were too slow back then to feed external instruments (my bass guitar) and perform live, so i generally just put Reaktor ensembles with it. (Steampipe, Carbon, Razor...).

I tried it on my secondary, VE Pro machine on Sequoia and it worked. I didn't do anything with it. Instantiating it crashed VEP at first, but it was on top of a lot of things loaded.

The compatibility list is just some text on a page. For example, Absynth 5 is supposedly supported through 3 4 OSes ago, EOL summer 2022. Works perfectly under Sequoia.
Kontakt 6 not on the list; I believe this is strategic to trick people into getting the later, shitty versions. "Komplete Effects" not on list. Replika XT, Flair, Choral, Raum are for sure working in VE Pro under OS15.3.2. Seems like someone here has Kore 2, EOL 2011, working.

If true , that's terrible news
