When a window like this

greets you every time you start Bitwig, it can be very annoying.

Of course. We all hate when that happens, nobody more than the support guys.lesha wrote:it can be very annoying.
I had a similar issue when using windows WASAPI drivers. I got it working by going into control panel > sound then de-selecting exclusive mode in the playback and recording advanced tabs. Maybe it works for you too.lesha wrote:I am not that rich to have separate computers for making music and surfing the web.

Thanks for the advice, but that unfortunately didn't fix the problem. I am using ASIO in BWS and I don't see why it should interfere with other drivers.goatgirl wrote:I had a similar issue when using windows WASAPI drivers. Using the same sample rate for everything.ezelkow1 wrote:As i said in the other thread, check your sample rates. Very few audio interfaces can handle doing asio+wdm+different sample rates (the only one I know off of the top of my head are the NI interface drivers). Most other ones at best can only handle asio+wdm while they are at the same sample rate. Thats how I have to run my scarlett, if I set my windows volume mixer settings to use a samplerate different from ableton/s1/etc, then wackiness can and has ensued
