I hear ya on this. Great idea. We need to get all the tracks up so we can choose some to segue in a stream from the webpage. I like the idea of streaming a few segued cuts rather than offering demo downloads, but it's open for discussion.

Still a lot going on behind the scenes. Marketing efforts, artwork and of course song creation.

At barely a week into this thing we are being profoundly successful and things are happening quickly -- though I know it doesn't seem like it sometimes.

It really shows what people can accomplish when working toward a common goal, and I guess the tie that binds us all in KVR -- despite many philisophical differences -- is music and a kind of stabbing pain we all feel about the City of Jazz which has served as an inspiration for most at some time or another -- certainly for me.

In a dream, in the year 2015, KVR (or similar) is a massive and powerful guild representing musicians from all over the globe who mobilize instantly to defend their kind and who are courted by powerful politicians for votes but we tell them all to F off because we are cool... er sumpthin...

I'm very new to this forum, but I heard about this thread on the BEYOND_EM message group at Yahoo Groups.
I'd like to contribute a song for this double CD set, too. How do I go about signing up to be a part of this project? Is there a particular style of electronic music preferred for this?

xRAVENx is right Kovacs, we need that copy on the webpage now telling people about the pre-order bonus of the Resonance CD because soon we are going to have people visiting the website who are not from KVR and thus do not know about the bonus CD at all.. YEah?

Hi & Welcome

If you scroll back a few pages in the thread, you will see a SOng List and General Instructions post. Also, I'm going o post an updated one in a few minutes.

Essentially, you post an MP3 or Ogg of your song into this thread, then it gats added to the song list, then you follow the instructions on the song list page on how to upload a wav file suitable for mastering into the CD.

Would be good if you pointed out that preordering the Katrina is the only way to get hands on the resonance CD. Also maybe an emphasis on the fact that they can listen to that CD while they wait for the katrina CD to hit the shelves (figuratively speaking).
