VSTis as good as hardware? Similar to Access Virus Quality?

So have you guys heard that GForce are working on a new VSTi ? Do tell !

There's at least two large threads about this if you look back a bit. In short, the general concensus is that they have two new things coming out at some point, one of which is an Oberheim emulation (yes really!) and for the other one you can go ask Kriminal...

Not sure why, but I hate the GUI of impOScar though, am I the only one ? The text is hard to read

Can't say I found that a problem, personally speaking - there's not that many controls on the impOSCar, in many ways it's quite a simple synth (2-osc, filter, anp+filter env), despite some complex behaviour and some interesting features, and if you spend a few hours with it you get to know what the controls do so so you're not looking at labels all the time...

To me the impOSCar is easier to read than Minimonsta.

I love companies that not just make synths with x amount of oscillators and routings, but really focus on the sound of filters/osc etc. Gmedia really seems to focus on that

I couldn't agree more !

I know what you guys mean about the GUI too, I'm sure a few hours of playing with it and I would just know where the knob is without reading text
