Hopefully they'll be adding melodic support for one or two of the engines, and perhaps full ADSR envelopes.

Or add a simple sample module, so you can layer in, say, acoustic samplesSendy wrote:Hopefully they'll be adding melodic support for one or two of the engines, and perhaps full ADSR envelopes.
Or add new BD, SD, HH synthesis modules (a la Rob Papen) to go along with the one generic module, to give 'options' on the how you build a sound.
Or... option of 32 steps...
Or.... etc etc
However, it seems like there is ZERO chance of them making any changes to Tremor. Unfortunately.

Indeed. Though I can live without samples and like the synthesis plus tons of FX approach, adding simple sample support would bring more people to the product and send it's versatility through the roof.
I'm also a bit worried about how many patterns we get. 24 different patterns may not be enough if you make constantly evolving beats. I LOVE the polyrhythmic abilities, though.
I tried RP Punch and while it sounded good, I found all of the different models a bit unintuitive, in that they're all similar to eachother but with slight differences which could easily be unified by one "master" topology with switchable paths. Thus I felt I had to memorize each model and that wasn't very intuitive.

True, but sometimes you just want an 'easy' synth mode for a particular type of sound. Otherwise you go from trying to get a snare to getting lost some sci fi voodoo space tunneling wooshing sound before you know it...

True. It doesn't help that the 'preset sound' is some stupid gong sound either. A simple analog kick or something inbetween a kick/snare would have been a better starting point for tweaking._leras wrote:True, but sometimes you just want an 'easy' synth mode for a particular type of sound. Maybe it would help if all the posters in this thread ask for a Tremor 1.1 on FXpansion's forum?
edit:
I posted in the Tremor section of FXpansion and started a new thread.
Would be awesome to see some "+ 1" responses appear from you guys.
Here's the direct link to the thread:

Thanks.

Ideally the synthesis of this and the sampling of Geist could be merged into one product.
Kind of like what Dr-008 was.. you could use samples or synthesis modules.. was cool until they unceremoniously killed it.

Yeah, I'm thinking about Trembling as there were rumblings of an update, but then silence...Sampleconstruct wrote:Tremor still rules...

A tad bewildering indeed, eventually the update will arrive, maybe during this decade even...Phase47 wrote:Yeah, I'm thinking about Trembling as there were rumblings of an update, but then silence...Sampleconstruct wrote:Tremor still rules...
