Nope. I'd pre-order it, I'm sold. But, I've learned from experience that it's usually better for me to just wait until the hype dies down. So, when I say that I "WILL" get one, I mean about this time next year.

In the latest interview, the guys at Midas said they're really trying to release it by the end of this year (so prolly in stores around Christmas). It would be too much of a selling opportunity to miss. On the other hand, they've made such and effort to clean their brand name (Behringer) lately that botching the release would be a major shot in their own foot. Judging by how brands like Korg & Roland have stumbled during their latest releases, Behringer prolly triple checks everything before letting a rushed product hit the store shelves. Stock recalls would shatter any chance to really make it big with this synth so :)
Makes sense. No need to rush things, especially with Behringer's lackluster reputation, things need to be just right (I never had any problems with their products, I might add).

i'd mention i'm looking forward to plugging a windsynth into this but TIL nobody at kvr knows what that is.

Dont be silly. This is a proper analog wind synth.

An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

even they don't call it that. but yeah, hilarious.

im glad people weren't so closed minded when the midi specification was forged. breath control has its own cc.

thats how old windsynths are.

I can assure you that EVERY single KVR member owns at least one FULLY analogue wind synth that gets regular use. Not everyone has a great timbre, but some can clear a room.

mine is monophonic

sometimes only a dog can hear mine but it still can clear a room
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Sounds not like a 999.99$ synth, but like two 3000$ synths... 8) :)

Finally... an analog synth which can bear composition with soft synths. Just kidding, but, it's nice to hear some analog sounds which don't come from a small analog monophonic noise box, which just distorts like mad, and everyone is like "OOOH YEAAH!! GIMME THE BRUTE!!!". This is much more like it.
