Yeah long time no see. Guess we never managed to keep our promises, did we?

BUT in 2011 i bought no Plug ins and VST at all :wheee:

Instead of bought an iPod Touch, an iPad 2 a few months later and music apps for about 650$ :dog:

This year I have bought Reason, a few RE's and a Vocaloid program. However I promise not to buy the Predator RE when it hit the shelves, promise! I really promise....unless it is CPU friendly off course...or has features I want...or just sounds good...or buying it makes me feel good...

..but otherwise I promise

I'm so broke, I had to save up ages for this. But I made it.

I even managed to afford a bottle of gin from the shop next store.

Anyway, that is besides the point - this was my main purchase.

I am now the proud owner of:

Should last me a good couple of years if it's anything like the last one.

(Longer than the Gin anyway)

But no more!
This will definitely be my last.

Anything else is extravagance.

Jim makes the bestest picks in the world (hic).

I know you are joking, but I LOVE talking about pics, strings, pickups.......but I'm the only one

I actually really like dunlop pics too. Was using these

But they are actually too sharp (sound good though). Then, I started liking a little less stiff:

But they REALLY wear out fast. Like, one day of practicing fast (very strange). I also like these:

They are meds so but still can be a little stiff, but they LAST! (and they sound better than anything......stellar tone!)

So, the search continues......hope you enjoy the picks and the gin :D

I have a long way to go but...posting here is the first step, isn't it? :scared:

I can offer one bit of advice for fellow sufferers though: reduce your income. It is the surest remedy over the long term

well I definitely won't be upgrading to Sonar X2 though I've been using Sonar since version 2...this past year has been an equal balance of buying up hardware and software...I can promise I won't buy anything else until I start making better use of what I already have...

It's amazing how much I've spent. I was doing better but I needed this guitar. And of course I needed new pickups for it :P

Very little software. But having a PP balance eventually succumbs. So there was mux (VERY important and integral for me) and I was a complete wuss with PSP echo

I'm getting problems right now, trying to not buy those new Bluemix and Redmix from Mildon Studios. You can think "this stuff are only SE crap... But man, they're really good and useful!

Please! I need help! :help: :help: :help:

In this month I bought a second hand guitar, MMultianalyzer, and second hand plugins (Korg M1 and Voxengo Crunchessor)

I don't plan to purchase any software in 2013 (bitwig being possible exception. we'll see). I really can't see a need for any more software or samples or anything in my computer at this point. I certainly have enough software to make music for the rest of my life. We'll see if I can make it one year first though :) I will probably look into a new audio interface, and will definitely get acoustic treatment for my music room. And maybe a hardware synth with lots of knobs. But yeah. I'd like to state now my intention to not get any new software in 2013, and just focus on making music.

edit: oh I'll probably get the drop, because I love filters
