I emailed him. Up to a few hours ago he was a bit hesitant to include all the presets in the demo.
(fastest response from support/developer ever, I thought it was a bot responding that it had received my support request. Nope it was Brian himself respond... had to be under two minutes).

Then I think I will wait for the Demo-update, of course its better to hear then to see a list.

The list/screen shot was just to see if there are some plucks/strings etc. added.

No, I dont look for "bread and butter", thats why I mentioned Friction. In my imagination I thought there would be an intersection between them as Friction is what I would exspect from a "physical modelling" synth and as most of the ones I know are.

But maybe I am totally wrong and thats the wrong party.....

Ahh, so more categories than the actual names of the presets.
Got ya.

The GUI will become the control surface.
Ok, I confess I have a MT monitor.
See my signature.

To me the GUI looks fine aesthetically speaking but I am the first to admit that I am not a GUI connoisseur.
It is quite good on a touch screen. Though I'm still not sure if the coarse/fine tuning thing is the best way to go about that. It's not bad, but easier would probably be a toggle button somewhere no the GUI that just flips everything from coarse to fine adjustments. Might be a nice option to have (Coarse/Fine/Split).
Agree and would not be hard to implement.
How about a double tap on the parameter to toggle?

BTW when does the $99 offer expire?

You can buy Plasmonic now at a special introductory discount: $99/99€ (regular $149/149€) through January 17th.

Does it have a randomize function like Absynth?

Thanks.

Ah, that's a bit of a shame... Still a cool synth anyway.

In Absynth it makes sense. In Plasmonic... maybe something like in Massive could make sense but overall to me one interesting thing about Plasmonic is it's inviting you to create your sound, kinda sucks you in and the results are very direct. If you want to fine-tune modulations, destinations, velocity response etc. it is also extensively deep, should you wish.
