I have most of V Collection 9, except for the SQ-80 V and M-20 V. And I have Pigments.
My Analog Lab V 5.5 is showing 12209 presets now, including Patchworks and Synthopedia, as well as the freebies and the Genesis Tribute. I also had Analog Lab V 4.
The only thing I can't find is the 'Include Legacy sounds' menu but I guess 12209 is not bad at all.
It's strange that you are not able to see "Include Legacy Sounds" menu, especially since you have Analog Lab 4 as well. Does this option show up in Analog Lab 4? It's there in the menu on the top left corner. Enabling it will increase the preset count significantly across many instruments.

Try this: Open Arturia Software Center -> Click on Analog Lab V -> In the release notes window on the bottom you will see a menu to do two things: Clear preferences and reinstall/uninstall.

Try clearing preferences and then reinstall Analog Lab V. Optionally, you can also try to deactivate both Analog Lab 4 and V (or V Collection) and then activate them again. You would need to set your audio/MIDI, etc. preferences again, but that should be easy.

Cheers, will do. Thanks for taking the time :tu:

I think I’m going crazy.
When I open the Analog Lab V menu, these are my options:
- New Preset…
- Save Preset
- Save Preset As…
- Import…
- Export…
- Resize Window
- Audio MIDI Settings
- Tutorials
- Help
- About

I clicked them all, couldn’t find “Include Legacy Sounds” anywhere.
Must be doing something wrong, but what?

"Include Legacy Sounds" should be at the very bottom of that list.

"Include legacy sounds" has been there since Analog Lab 4 if I remember correctly, so assuming your Analog Lab 4/V are working correctly, this option should be there in the menu. I think it would be best if you could clear preferences and reinstall, as I suggested above.

Also, try to deactivate and reactivate your license.

Then, open Analog Lab 4/V in standalone mode first.

Also, if you are facing problem with presets count, etc., close your DAW and any standalone instances of Analog Lab/Pigments and follow this step:
delete the file "db.db3" in the folder (for Windows) "C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Presets"
It will force a full rescan of presets and rebuild the database. Make sure to open standalone versions of Analog Lab and Pigments after you do this for smooth experience. If you have changed the resources folder location, modify the path accordingly.

I will, thanks guys! Just weird I’m missing that option in both apps on both Macs (running latest version).

I don't see it on AL4 here, just on AL V.

Thanks.
Got this reply from Arturia support: “in the current state, to have access to this feature, this requires to still have the previous instruments installed and their licenses activated to enable the edition of the corresponding presets.”

I bought a Keylab 88 MKII just today from a local distributor, it said it has V Collection 7 and Pigments inside as a gift. Is it really correct or do they mean the few plugins (Piano and some other 2 analog synth software) as V Collection 7?

If it's really V Collection 7, will it be version 7 or the latest one, as I bought it today?

Can't wait to try it out at home tonight.

That's an amazing deal! No, it should mean that both V Collection and Pigments are free.

Ideally, it should be the latest version, that is, V Collection 9. You can drop an email to Arturia support before registering it to make sure it is VC9, and if not, request them to make it VC9!

You don't want to be 2 versions behind, especially when you have the opportunity to get on to the latest version for free (rather than spending money later to upgrade). Use it to your benefit! :tu:

And indeed, it worked. After downloading the older CS-80 V3, Prophet V3 and Piano V2, the 'Include Legacy Sounds' tab appeared and my Analog Lab V presets count changed from 12385 to 13720.

Is anyone else noticing that the Transwaves in SQ-80 V don’t behave like Transwaves? It’s like you get a single cycle wave and when you try to scroll though the Transwave, the single cycle waveform gets squeezed.

It sure wouldn't hurt to ask Arturia about the latest version!

But I suspect your distributor may have been selling older stock, and the bundled software code may only be linked to whatever deal was in effect at the time of manufacture. The only way to find out would be to register them and see what happens.

I bought a new KeyLab MkII last year from a distributor (back ordered), and Piano V was the only V Collection instrument that was included in my bundle. It's been a while since I saw a full V Collection included with a controller. That was VC7 perhaps?

It depends on the dealer. Here in NZ they don't bundle it with any VC.
I bought mine 2 or 3 years ago (keylab mkii 49) with the same bundle as now with mkii 88!

I have an upgrade path though in Arturia, but I bought VC7 2nd hand and upgrade it to VC8 and VC9 when there was a good offer from Arturia.

I think VC7 bundle (if it's the same price as here) is a great bargain ;)
