Just ordered this puppy, was a toss up between this and the Schecter UV jobby, but couldn't resist the classic lines.

Good choice, VERY expensive. The hardware aspect is terrific (I have a deluxe murican) but this is what you find in the cavity:

Maybe yours won't be like that. I had to sub out the electronics and get an emerson kit because the knobs were busted, the switch didn't work and the pots were all scratchy.
Ah, they did pull that shit with me. Ok, I'll find something else

Not very expensive at all compared to some guitars and various mastering gear.
Sorry you had such a bad experience, I'll let you know if mine is as bad after it arrives, but all I'm getting from your link is 'Please update your account to enable 3rd party hosting', from Photobucket, and I have to admit I'm not really sure exactly what that means... Can you give a textual description of what your problems were?

Indeed, but if I had problems equalling yours, I'd send it back rather than subbing stuff out. 30 day money back guarantee and three year warranty with Thomann.

Can't remember if I posted about this, but I also swapped out the electronics on my murican std tele. I also reversed the knob position in the process. But, I much prefer the Emersons to the stock pots.

Choralflange!
TC pedals much?
I never realized how close the Fulltone logo is to the Fender logo.

It was a mini board project for fun. The only non-TC is the tumnus .. which is a bad assed pedal. You provided 3 or 4 of those TC's as B-Stock! My goal was to make the cheapest good mini board . That's all fits on the pedaltrain nano+. If the stupid battery Pedaltrain made would last, this board would be awesome. But, they simply don't hold up, so back to brick power supplies.TC pedals much?
Dang, me either ... but on further review it's primarily the F. The e and n are different.I never realized how close the Fulltone logo is to the Fender logo.

I doubt anyone will be impressed with the guitar I've just bought myself on zzzounds as an early birthday gift, but I'm excited about it so I want to share.

well those can be a crap shoot, but in general they are great guitars. Usually, you can get them to be as good as the LP model they knock off. So, I'd be excited too. A friend just got one of the 335 specials. It plays and sounds great too. So, Happy Birthday and congrats! Hopefully it will be a keeper.

One of the things I like about this thread is that we've covered every cost level of guitars. And treat each with the same interest and sense of fun. Which is what guitars should be about.Russell Grand wrote:I doubt anyone will be impressed with the guitar I've just bought myself on zzzounds
