On the 64-bit topic, we're still following the DAW and rest of the industry in general and when that really hits its stride we'll be going along with it. Is Pro Tools 64-bit yet? I'll have to check. But we are definitely following the topic closely and not ignoring it.
I didn't report the second issue because it didn't take me long to find the workaround. I found it almost by accident. I had almost given up, but figured I would try the individual modules to see if they had the same problem. They didn't. So I then tried x-gear, and it worked. I then closed Sonar, opened it and tried this again. I got the same results. I haven't used Pro Tools in forever, so I don't really know. Pro Tools is more "Industry Standard", but I find Sonar to be a better fit for me and every bit as powerful. So don't forget us Cakewalk guys!

I wasn't really disappointed. I figured they would eventually get back to me, it was just taking awhile and I got impatient and found it on my own. :hihi: I then left a message saying I figured it out and what it was. Support initially got right back to me asking some questions, and then nothing for awhile.

64bit is a must for those huge Nebula and Orchestral Sample libraries. 32bit WinXP and 4GB RAM can work out if you aren't doing Orchestral or running too many big sample libraries. Amplitube with its current demands changes the equation when you try to run several instances.

I read somewhere Win7 64 isn't even refined enough to get lower latency comparable to XP.
The latency to me seems to be about the same. I am able to have it pretty low in 32 bit and 64 bit. Everything seems to work the same exact way except for the 2 issues I mentioned.

I'm having the same "no sound" issue under win7 pro 32 bits, when several amplitube instances are loaded in the same project in REAPER.

Load 1 or two instances, fine, load a couple more and no sound. For me the workaround was to remove the plugin instance and add it back, but its somehow random

Minchia! All of a sudden my stuff is no longer authorized? :)
I just loaded X-Gear and it says I have 10 days left to authorize my programs. They have been authorized for awhile. What in the squeeky ballz is going on? :hihi:

I've just built a new 6gb Win7 64-bit i7 machine just in time for AmpliTube 3.
So let the developers know they may now support x64. I'm sure that is the signal they've been waiting for! :hihi:

Make sure you have the latest version. If that doesn't work hit support up via the User Area, and note that if it is the previous problem it may just be jumping from one old authorization to another and not just burning them all up. Either way, they'll sort you if the update doesn't fix it all up.

Yes, redshift. We were waiting for you. Got you a comfy seat too, while we were at it ;)

Yeah, I have the latest versions. I reauthorized them. Let's see what happens. I really should have stuck with Windows XP 32 bit. Everything ran smooth. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I had to get with the times and install Windows 7 64 bit. :P

Hey guys! From a long time I waited the final version of Amplitube 3 to arrive.
And I must tell you it blew my mind. Last night I made a quick test and looked through the new amps and mostly the new speaker module. This thing is unbelievable...It is the best speaker modeling that I've heard.
I will post a quick video today and more samples the next days!

Time to play more

Cheers,
Dimi

Ok, here is the first test
I'm just searching for the tone and exploring the room thing and the microphones...
Wow, love it!

Another quick one

are there any phase issues with the 2 mics, i know in TH1 that using 2 mics and moving them about, creates problems with phase that can't really be fixed.

Isn't that what happens in the real world, too?
Peace, my friends. I'm not seeking arguments here. ;)

something we could do without in most cases tho!

Dimi - I just gotta say - you make everything sound good. It does not seem to matter what you play through, it always sounds great.
