My point is that that is exactly what RS is :)
Then again, I don't even know why I care so much about this. Both are fun synths hehehe, retro is definitely easier to program!

Amen.

Now if they would just come up with a simplified UI for Ultrabeat we'd really be on to something.
Interesting. I would just be happy if they update the graphics for ES1/2 and Ultrabeat though (at least Retina compatible)

OK I've had a quick look at specs of the Access Virus plugin, it looks like it's Multi timbral / Multi-output. There is a bug introduced in 10.0.2 that affects a lot of Multi-output plugins, bypassing them can instantly crash Logic 10.0.2. As far as I know Apple are aware of it & a fix will hopefully coming soon.
Damn yes it just crashed again ffs with the multi-output selected. I'm gonna try the other way now with just stereo.
It crashes within seconds mate (NOT GOOD) i need this synth for a track lol and nothing replaces it grrrr.

I'll keep watching out for a fix i just hope they don't break anything else hehe.

As a Mac user, I am open to the idea, but I just can't see what Logic has over Studio One in reference to actual workflow. I know Logic beats the ever living hell out of it in included instruments and effects, but I already have great 3rd party stuff there. I owned Logic 8 and Cubase 6 and S1 just seems infinitely better. I am seduced by Logic X's sexy new Ui though I admit. Is there a demo?

Question about Ultrabeat?

Great sound and i can import my own samples etc but where is the "INIT" kit? Do you have to do this manually for every slot? All i can see is that you can replace the current sound by selecting "SAMPLE" then you have to Save As.
Is there not an easier way to wipe all sounds and patterns in one go?

No INIT all?

If there is i can't find it iv'e been looking in the included kits for an INIT kit but NADA!

This site is where I go for Logic presets - including many init patches:

Check Presets > Drum Kits > Drag & Drop Samples for that.

To anyone that also uses WavesTune, how does Flex Pitch stack up against it?
